Missing out on that one exchange program to Denver, Colorado. Think, I could have gone to a reasonable country for a time... Still would be there, actually.

My regret was a girl.

Then I recently fixed that... didn't work out as well as I thought.

Now my regret is regretting that girl this entire time.

Huh.

Not locking the door at Italian camp when I was sixteen.

More recently I feel bad for not shaking the hand of man I meet in my course with AIDS, he'd given a talk on living with it and as I left the lecture theatre I walked past him and I was thinking about shaking his hand, I made a comment about how helpful it was, but yeah I really felt bad in retrospect (not for not shaking it, but I hesitated because AIDS scared me even though I knew it couldn't be transferred).

I could've gotten the complete Monty Python's Flying Circus series on DVD on sale. But I didn't when I had the chance and the next day it was gone...*starts playing "Where Have All the Flowers Gone"*....

A girl as well, never got to tell her how I feel and now can only watch as she goes on without me.

Also another thing that's not so much a missed oppurtunity as a major screw up, I bought a region one DVD copy of Coraline from a shop in Perth that has import DVD's. I thought it would be months before Coraline hit Australian shelves for purchase. I didn't mind that given it was a region one I couldn't play it on my Xbox only my DVD player downstairs which meant directly competing with my parents for control over use of the TV.

Two weeks later..... Coraline comes out on Australian shelves for purchasing. I jumped the gun and now I have a version of the movie that is limited in usage and I cannot justify the expense to get a different version. Further more, recently the disk got damaged slightly and I have to find a venue that can repair it.

If I could just go back in time and tell myself to be patient on making that purchase, I totally would.

What's your biggest missed opprotunity?

Do you regret it? Would you go back and take it if you could?

Mine is all the damn scholarship applications I missed out on due to my extreme laziness and inclination to procrastinating. Damn, it finally happened, my laziness is actually costing me money : (
that and me thinking about the mistakes my brother made somehow caused me to miss out on the chance to date this really awesome girl I meet two summers ago

I'd have to say a lot of sex. Hasn't happened since high school, which was before I learned the signs.

For everyone. I feel your pain. Maybe a little more because for me shes the only girl i've ever been truly attracted to. Worst part was she used to have a crush on me. Oh and also i don't remember anything before her. We are also no longer talking ever i guess cause the guy she married threatened me and said never to speak to her. But would i go back and change it? No.

I'm going to get my vengeance on him.... I know how to break a man :)
You missed my point. Pining over the 'one that got away' is a waste of time. Just... don't worry about it. Move on, or else you won't be as open to the next girl who -won't- get away. Or she wouldn't have if you wouldn't stop talking about 'the love of your life'.
