Did not pick up the screwdriver in The Longest Journey, with no multiple saves.
Had to start the whole game all over.
Thankfully it was a good game, but still :S

Lending my PS1 games to my ex (I had a lot of the ones that are currently the most expensive on half.com right now, including Suikoden 1 & 2)

Playing WoW

Playing WoW preexpansion and accidentally wiping out a 60 man molten core raid, or what I liked to call, "How To Make An Entire Realm Hate You In Under 10 Seconds". It was funny.

Haha these are pretty amusing guys

got another one here:
Playing TBR on Warcraft 3 and I was about a level 199 (200 is max) and I got a little greedy with some items and got my username banned, by the clan and then by a few randoms - had to start a new account - lost 3 level 120-150s a 2 level 50-90s and the aforementioned 199

That thrice-damned Dreamcast.

Followed closely by losing my copy of Harvest Moon DS, with four years awesome farm work along with it.

Being distracting by the pretty artwork on Unlimited Saga and buying it before wondering why it was in the used games bin.

I'm having a hard time thinking of a game with a grenade in it that I didn't blow myself up with.

Run windows on parallels, you will be surprised at the performance in games.

Mine? Buying Driver 3, buying Small Soldiers when I was a kid.
You didn't like Small Soldiers? Even when you were a kid? What was there not to like? Man I loved that game. Wish I still had it.

Lets see. Going full magic in castle crashers and getting Warhammer online when I was in the beta and hated it. My friends all bought it despite my warnings and kind of got me sucked into it.

Oh and nothings tops paying for xbox live. I live in Australia. Most servers or hosts are in America.. 90% of games are completely unplayable with lag. The funny thing is we pay more than the Americans for it when you do the exchange rate. sigh, CoDWaW has a local filter search so it gets a tiny bit of use..

I feel your pain. Left 4 Dead seems to be your best bet, I find.
