In Fallout 2, I attacked the guy at the end of the Temple of Trials in Arroyo because he told me we were to spar. Turns out you had to tell him you accepted his challenge before attacking him. Couldn't figure out why the entire village turned on me.

Oh and nothings tops paying for xbox live. I live in Australia. Most servers or hosts are in America.. 90% of games are completely unplayable with lag. The funny thing is we pay more than the Americans for it when you do the exchange rate. sigh, CoDWaW has a local filter search so it gets a tiny bit of use..
I feel your pain. Left 4 Dead seems to be your best bet, I find.
:( I got L4D on PC. I hired it out one night to play co-op with friends and the framerate and such is really choppy.. didnt really like it that much.

Buying a PSP.

Then on top of that, buying Final Fantasy to play on it.

Both are gathering dust in some dark corner...

I, through a series of unfortunate events that I could have stopped, am not able to play Diablo 2 anymore.

Oh how I have failed.
Sounds like there's a good story in this one. ;-)

I broke my PS1 by touching the lens once. Why? It doesn't really matter any more...

Didn't buy World of Goo when it was 75% off on Steam over the weekend. Still, I'd probably be more annoyed if I'd bought it for full price shortly before the deal was on.

My biggest mistake in gameing would be. Starting the playing of WoW three years ago. The game is a drug, I swear it is.

The week after I bought Portal and Team Fortress 2 on Steam they half priced them for a few days, 2 weeks after I bought L4D they did the same thing.

I was not amused. -_-
Did the same thing, but that was just with the Valve Complete Pack. 3 weeks later, it got on January sale; 60% off!!!

There I was, quietly pushing my way through the depths of Magmoor, my missles were only at their half-load, my health was less than par given the surprisingly large amount of time I'd been forced to spend in the magma lacing everything remotely safe-looking, given that, as a newbie to the game at the time, I had not yet learned that a bug with three-pronged armor on its forehead was immune to anything less than food-looking weapons. I open a gate, staving my concerns for a moment as I see a new area. Found, was I, because I had not yet noticed the numerous Pirates wandering about. How I'd wished it was the same for them. I find the gate, and hear the landing of two behind me. In the time it took for me to turn around and let loose a volley of munitions to make North Korea soil itself, their friend in the Crane Booth, one of the many, happily assist them in perforating my sub par armor. Swiftly, I fall to the ground, shrieking...

...only to wake up, four hours prior in the destroyed Frigate...because I'd forgotten to save...

Though, I do have to agree with the Shadow the Hedgehog moment above. For all the gods in heaven, why did they think Shadow needed weapons? Why do they think that Sonic needs a sword now? There's just no sound reasoning there!

Four (in game) years into Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town, I decided to start a new game in the other, empty file... I saved to the wrong file. *cringe*

Also, I realized I own a Spyro the Dragon game for Gamecube. I don't even know where it came from... I think I must've blocked it from my memory.

You better not be talking about Crisis Core...

OT: Saying "Ah, lets give Blue Dragon a chance."

Buying Mass Effect for $40, only to find I had no time to play and back logging it. Then, finally getting around to playing it when it was marked down to $20.

edit: Also, buying Arcanum (PAL) on sale for $13 only to find that 6 months later, GOG.com is selling a regionless version for only half.
