I always dread it. I see it as just another day, but my family sees it as some kind of big deal where we all have to get together and crap. The worst part is that for two months beforehand I'm not allowed to buy anything at all for myself (I still live with my parents because college is expensive). This inevitably leads to me running out of games to play except for TF2, then when I finally get two months' worth of games at once I suffer for over stimulation. And since my birthday is in October the cycle immediately repeats itself for Christmas.

I dread pretty much all celebrations. My parents like to move at a slow pace through everything, while I like enjoying something till I'm done, then quickly moving elsewhere.

Then there's the whole, I can't remember an event where my mother didn't get freakishly obsessive about it, stress out and start crying, or fight with a family member, thing. But hey, whatever.

...Damn, that was a bit of a downer, wasn't it?

No offense but from this end it was pretty funny, I can't imagine it being fun to deal with but still.

Go to school. It's always ona s cohol day, except this year :D

I always have some sort of meal with my family, although last year it was a take-out, and I went to a gig afterwards.

I always hang out, lt's do something different!

Nope. It's my birthday, I wear my badge and go outside!

In large quantities.

Usually meh towards it.

Not usually, but I'm 18 this year so I'll do something big and sparkly.

Normally go clubbing or something. So basically it's like an average Friday/Saturday/Whateverday night except I get free drinks.

I think for my last birthday I went out with a couple of friends for a few drinks. But usually I just stay in my dressing gown for nearly the entire day. Like every day really

Normally I just do something with my family. But I'm turning 18 in March so I'm gonna drink. A lot.

I don't really do much, don't really care for birthdays.

However since I'm turning 18 next month, then I will make an exception and actually do something. But I'm not sure what.

eh i normally try to do something.

I dont have a car so there is not much i can do on my own.
The past few years iv went to a movie with a couple of friends and had Nemian Marcus cake when i got home.
Its soooooooooo good.
Especially when its Strawberry.

i dont drink.
i look foreword to it most of the time.
one of the things i like to do is after the movie i would get my friends to hang out at the mall and we end up at the arcade for some Marvel VS Capcom 2(My anti-drug).
I usuialy win.

Once i get a car i hope to go out on my own for a good steak and maybe some alone time for my birthday.

Happy Birthday BTW.

Aaah! Personal questions! I love this threads.

What do you normally do on your birthday?
Go to a restaurant with my family.

Do you go out?
Yes, with my family, duh. I'm a family guy.

Do you hang out?
No. I never felt the need to.

Do you hide out?
I try but never managed to fully succeed it.

Drink?
Only if I'm not alone.

Do you look forward to it or dread it?
Hard to say. I will be 22 by then and I must admit that I don't like to get older. Since I did 20, there's nothing new to see.

Sit alone crying in my room that im another year older and that time has passed by so quickly. My 18th i went for a meal the day before with my uncle, then on the day my best friend came over and we had a few drinks and a sleepover.
This year im hoping to meet up with friends, and go for a drink. Maybe hang out for a bit.

Haha, none taken. One of my favorite things about my home life is that when phrased properly, even I think it's funny.

Things are always funny after the fact, like when puking on a boat with friends. Horrible then, hilarious now.

On the actual day, i usually visit my parents'
Then when i get my ass off teh computer chair (usually up to a few weeks later) i'll invite my friends for a party, where we'll get drunk like any other party, only they give me presents.
I like it when it's my birthday.
