Are those worth it? It seems cheaper to just get an iTouch and a phone with camera and texting. That's what I do.
Not really. I'm switching to a Blackberry soon anyways. I'd say just get an iTouch and a regular phone (just like you said).

Heres my baby:

I love that phone, kicks the ass out of anything ive ever owned before.
CrackBerry FTW!!!

Here's my pride and joy straight from the US (well, the US version anyway):

I had a Blackberry Pearl flip once and hated it. It slowed down and had to be reset constantly. The MyTouch is my favorite phone so far though.

Samsung C3050, cheap and it does what a phone should do.
No stupid, pointless add-ons.
Just ordered it from 02 today.
I'm from England by the way.
Indeed, it's a great phone! I has one just like it XD

I have this rediculously sturdy little thing:
I use it to: call people, text people, wake me in the morning and occasionally planning or taking photos (horrible quality).

Same here.

The touch screen is annoyingly fiddly, and it can be a little laggy at times, but it's a great little pseudo-smartphone. And it's a Nokia, so it's got to be at least reasonably good.

Oh, and the included game "Bounce Touch" is a wonderful gem.
My touch screen isn't to bad but yeah sometimes it lags but it is a nifty little thing. And its battery lasts for ages. I can't get used to bounce touch game i always fail at it.

I recently got a Samsung Exclaim to replace my old phone that absolutely despised holding a charge. Much improved on the Exclaim for battery life, and I may be developing a habit of sliding between keypads when I get fidgety.
