To all you PC gamers out there what CPU are you running? And what is your core temp idle and under load?

Im currently running a Core 2 Duo E6600. 25 degrees C idle and 55 C while under load (Mass Effect).

I run a core i7 clocked up to ~3.7 ghZ. these puppies run a bit hot, so I'm closer to 65 under load.

Not that those temperatures mean anything, its a measurement of voltages between parts of the chip, and are essentially meaningless the further you get from the critical temperature.

Then...uh, why did you post here?

I'm running an AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 3600+, according to my device manager. I don't have a thermometer in mine, though, so I couldn't tell you the temperature. The case itself doesn't get too hot, though.

Intel Q6600. Nice double-dual core (not really a quad). Good cooling installed. Maxes out at about 58 degrees Celsius. Overclocked at 3.00 Ghz. (It can take more if needed - standard is 2.4).

Bought it 2 years ago and i am supremely satisfied with it. Cheap and awesome.

Nice. You have the 920 OC? because I heard the 920 was an Overclockers dream for the money.
