Your current frustration

My relationship- We've had a good two years together, but I just wish he'd set out on building his own life and not desiring a boring and terrible life here in my current city.

I´m sure you are better off without him. Hopeless romantics and or leeches make terrible partners in the long run.

He really isn't, he's self reliant and not really a romantic (I sometimes wish he were more so). He's just nervous about setting out in the world (like I am). He's also stubbourn, and wants to do everything himself (even if he needs help).

At least I'm in school now, but he needs to get into school if he wants a decent life later.

I'm waiting for a letter from my penpal. It's not here. The thing is, we met online and decided to start writing via mail. Most people do it in reverse, and it's no surprise, because email is a) instant and b) convenient. And I'm also waiting for a couple of items that I ordered online. I hate waiting for things.

School is coming up next week, and I'm not looking forward to variations and models and applications, not that I even know what they are. Also, I haven't skateboarded in around two weeks and I'm pretty sure I'm getting withdrawal symptoms.

The fact that my math teacher apparently can't figure out the program for online homework, as he keeps setting due dates for assignments before we have a chance to go over the material in class.

Also, I keep meaning to work on a story I'm currently writing, but I keep putting it off.

AND that people seem to assume that I am a shy, quiet, douchebag before giving me a chance to prove otherwise. I have been asked if anything is wrong (while being in a perfectly good mood) by many people over the years. Many of the same people have pointed out to me the first time they see me laugh. I don't go out of my NOT to laugh at things that are funny, so I really don't understand where they're coming from. I don't know. I feel like people just look at me and assume that I'm "The Quiet Kid" before I even have a chance to talk.

Hell, once I sat next to a girl I didn't know in a class about a year ago. Now, I had friends sitting on my other side. So did she. I talked to my friends, she talked to hers. We almost never talk to each other. Now, after about 3 weeks, she randomly turns to me and says, "You're really quiet." This is a class where I talk to MY FRIENDS all the GODDAMN TIME, just like does. I don't get it. I really don't. I responded with "Yeah, it's because I'm planning on killing everyone." It's probably good that she didn't hear me, but my friends, who I talked to ALL. THE. FUCKING. TIME. thought it was hilarious.

The fact that I'm getting a paltry 13 MB/s in my new flat, from a shitty USB wireless adaptor.

It's the best I can do in my current situation, but its just not good enough for me, being as i am used to lightening fast intarwebz.

I am posting this because I became so frustrated just now. I have been practicing a song for weeks already, and I am proud of myself that I finally learned the whole song.

The problem? Even though I know how to play every part, I keep fucking up parts that I already mastered! I keep playing the song over and over and over and over and over, my wrist is fucking cramped. And yet once I try playing the song in sync with the song playing in the background, I fuck up something that I already got down.

It is indeed frustrating, even more so because I want to put it up as a video already for fellow Escapists to see. Expect my video sometime next week hopefully.

So, what is currently frustrating you?

P.S. The song I am trying to master is In Flames - Artifacts Of The Black Rain. Hope some of you recognize it:

Play it more slowly. You probably keep messing up because you messed up a few times and then kept playing the song with those mistakes. There was this one bend in the "Sunshine of Your Love" solo I kept missing and I eventually forgot it was there due to me continually playing it without that one bend (I play it now though ).

The one thing that is frustrating me right now is that everything is going just fine, good grades in college and lots of new fun stuff to do, but I have the flu. :/

Yeah I know that I must slow down my playing a bit if I get sloppy again. It's just kinda difficult to slow down when I already have most of the song down. My hands get accustomed to playing faster so I can;t seem to slow down, but hey I came this far by practicing so I can do it eventually.

WTF why you say that? Yeah new IF sucks ass (since Reroute to Remain) but they were definitely metal...up until A Sense of Purpose. That album is just HORRIBLE.

The feeling of confusion I have over 3 girls.

One of them is like 3 years younger than me but we have a lot in common,

another one is a slag by common knowledge and I wouldn't be looking for anything serious with but damn what a body, I had strong feelings for her in the past but we've reached an understanding,

the third one is... I don't know how to word it. I always feel like holding her when she's upset at something.

Now for a guy with my track record, even when I decide which one I want I still have a very low chance of getting with any of them. But the frustration of which one to choose is hell enough.

You're both wrong. They are metal as fuck and everything they've done has been fantastic except sense of purpose. Clayman is undoubtably the best but I like every song on reroute to remain except, coincidentally, reroute to remain.

I'm frustrated by trying to complete a 3 heart no death run of Ocarina Of Time... I'm on my 8th attempt right now and i find i keep dying at areas I've surpassed before, most notably volvagia has an instant kill with his fire breath. The furthest I've completed is up to the fight with Ganondorf only again to get insta- killed by his fucking projectiles... It's got to a point where I am on the verge of giving up.

I know what you mean, I had a similar problem with Evolutionary Sleeper by Cynic but hey you got this far you can surely figure it out
