I bottle it up inside me till it goes away. No joke thats what i do. I know it is mad and not really a way to deal with it but if it is bothering me a little i will tell people. If it is really getting me down i will not tell anyone. I will hide it deep down until it goes away. It does in the end. It is the best way i have found for me and i know it sounds mad but for me i... well it kind of works... meh i know i am mental :p

Make other people depressed.

Or, alternatively, drown myself in heavy metal and play fallout. I don't really get depressed though, certainly not for long periods (although that could be the efficacy of the above remedy).

Think back to all the previously bad times in my life. Nothing like more depression to solve depression.

I do nothing. Ceep calm and carry on. It's probably not healthy in the long run or in the case of serious depression, but so far I haven't had that.

Just find someone who is even more miserable than me and listen to their problems. This cheers me up no end. Failing that, ice-cream, kittens and smores.

Just to clarify, I pet the kitten.

Sorry if you are feeling down. If you feel down a lot maybe you can talk to someone you trust.

I tend to do exercise (Lifting weights and the like rather than running) listen to some relaxing Death Metal and Goregrind music.

Or I just punch a wall/people who annoy me...

Sometimes both.

I listen to Emilie autumn and play Super mario bros 3

Or i sit back and think about how that there are people all throughout the world going through war, oppression, extreme hunger, or true emotional pain. This makes me realize, no matter how bad it gets, my life is still damn good and i should be happy.

I just hide from the rest of the world, either by blasting music or going to the store to get some cookies.

Listen to anything by Ronald Jenkees. Seriously, the guy knows something serious about feeling alright and having fun.
I'm likin this!
OT: Cook, eat, smoke weed, play videogames or go for a walk in any mix....or if I'm actually back home, go visit some of my best friends...at which we'd probably do some of what I just said, but together!

EDIT: Also, music. All the fucking time. Usually what I'm digging at the time.

I just watch this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QoPofJeWuR0 The sheer randomness and silliness of it never fails to make me laugh.

Other than that, I watch some skits from Whole Line is it Anyway? "If you know what I mean" is perfect for getting anyone out of the blues/weepies.

I...just kind of snap out of it.

I'll be depressed for a while, then one day I'll realize I'm not any more. Nothing I do while depressed helps though. Just gotta wait it out.

I follow the way of Barney Stinson: "whenever I get sad, I stop being sad and be awesome instead."

But seriously, I usually just listen to either Rise Against or Slayer.
Rise Against if I want to wallow in my depression, Slayer if I want to supress it.

I take a shower, go grab pizza, come on back, and root myself firmly in place either playing games or watching Excel Saga for the entire day. It works wonders, believe me.

When I really feel depressed nothing helps, nothing at all.

I stop being depressed. Working out helps too.
That's what I thought too. Sadly it didn't work out that way...oh I'm so sorry for that pun.
I'm sorry to hear that that is how it is for you.
