I use this cleaning paste i got from hasting. the bottle says to spread it on and lightly rub it in and buff off.

But i Rub it in with two fingers using medium pressure, let it dry completely and then buff it off with all my might. the disk is clean as a whistle and de-scratched. it works amazingly good, i used it on an old war of the monsters disk that wouldn't play i can now play for hours on it... if i wasn't trying to sell it.

In my sleepy state, I thought this thread said "Your dick cleaning solutions".

I thought the Escapist has stooped to a new low.

Mine is using 1 full squirt of Windex, than rubbing it off with a paper towels.

Ah, that made my day.

My best disc cleaning tactic is having digital media.

Works every time.
This. What better to use than something meant for not scratching fragile surfaces? But I rarely have to use them, since I like making sure my disks don't get smudged.
Agree with both posts. Luckily, I try to take good care of my disks, so I usually only have to clean them if it's an old game, or if it's one I bought used. I also use these cloths to clean other stuff, like my iPod and DS screens.

To keep in line with half the posters here, I use tears from a gypsy and the finest Persian silk to clean discs.

But seriously though my discs never get dirty as I rarely use them in this digital age, and if I have to clean a disc I just use the inside of my t-shirt. If they get scratched I take them to the local Blockbuster and ask if they can "sand" it down if I rent a movie. They have saved me twice and they don't mind.

I have a "Disc Clinic" Kit I use,it has a cleaning spray,a little cleaner thing to put the disc in to clean it and a special CD with a little brush on it for cleaning out CD drives.

I've never had to clean disks or discs. Musical, games, or otherwise. Because they're either in the device that plays them or they're in the case.

This works for specifically XBOX 360 disks, but if you install them to your hard drive, they don't spin while you play them, so they hardly ever get scratched.

If it's just dirty, then i have little more to say than everybody else: shirt rub.
