I've heard loads of people talk about thier dream wedding, house, holiday et cetera ad nauseum.
However, in many ways a funeral is just as big an affirimation of life as any of these things. A funeral is all about you. What you achived, who you were and the difference you've made in people's lives.
So, my Escapist peers, what kind of funeral would you want? How would you like people to remember you? Tell us about your dream funeral.
Mine is pretty simple, if not bizarre... I'd like to be mulched in a wood chipper and have a nectarine tree planted on me in lieu of a head stone. I love nectarines and it's symbolic of life and continuation. (Plus, climbing on head stones is just creepy!) Then my friends and family go have a party with loud music, food and drinks... Go on guys, enjoy yourselves! I did.
