I just got done watching Mythbusters, and realized that I would give up any job in the world to be a member of the cast on that show. I mean seriously, they spend their time shooting down trees with miniguns, blowing up shit with high grade C4, and getting drunk in the name of "science". And they get paid like a hundred grand an episode to do it. I wish my job did that :(

So I was just wondering, if you could have any job in the world right now, regardless of what it may be or how impossible it would be to secure, what would it be and why? (Job has to be real!)

I wish I was the host On the Colbert Report.
That, or I wish I were a Marine Biologist, I've always been fascinated by things in the sea.

Professional clapper in a Flamenco band.

Seriously, a fighter pilot; well on my way to being one.

I reckon a parking ticket dude. Seriously. It's a job where you get to punish people for being stupid. How awesome would that be?!?!?!

Either that or Trogdor.

Being a Mythbuster would rule, but today I realized what my true calling would be. Any job in which standard attire is a Lucha Libre Mask and a very expensive suit.

Combat medic would be awesome. I'm in an EMT class right now and after that I'll think about it some more.

A film director. Though, working as an explosives technician would be sweet too!

So you want to be a professional mexican wrestler that left the industry to become a body guard for rich people? (I hope you know that job involves getting your ass kick by underdog protagonists in fighting anime/shows/movies.)

A writer. No seriously. I'd like to actually eat and have a roof over my head though, so I'm probably not going to pursue this dream job right now. I know some people do make money off this and some of them actually make a lot, but I doubt it was easy in the beginning.
Why? Because it would be a job where I not only get to say my thoughts, but if it's a sort of work from home thing, I could spend all day listening to music and claim to be working at any possible time ("shh... I'm thinking of something important right now. Come back later when I'm not working")

I'd like to get back into the wonderful world of demolitions. A word of warning to those aspiring explosive handlers: 4 years in the Marines being in close proximity to things that go boom has left me with chronic headaches and memory loss, but surprisingly little hearing loss. As for dream jobs, I still cant choose between cryptozoology, marine engineering, oceanography, or porn star.

I'm stuck between Voice Actor (so that I can be in the cartoons and video games that everyone loves) and Telemarketer, so that I might ruin people's days for a living.

An Astronaught seems a bit too easy on a thread like this, even if it would be pretty cool. But I'm going to go with something I'm surprised more people havn't chosen: a video games director. Why? Well, I'm a decent writer, I can invent good stories in a relativly short amount of time and, well, I love viedogames.

Oh yeah and I could make some DRM that actually worked... or at least make a game more than three hours long so that it's worth spending money on.
