Your Dream Weapon

Game weapons are getting slightly bland and samey. Usual load out is shotgun, explosives, assault rifle, crappier rifle, pistol, and a few specialized ones to mix it. How about we think of out own weapons that we think would be awesome.

I want a machine gun that shoots missiles. Big, explosive ones. It has a drum the size of a barrel and shoots at a rapid-fire rate. Basically, you are god as long as you have a few clips.

Sorry to say, if I could get any fictional weapon, it would have to be the Disclauncher (Stormhammer) from Tribes. A high energy disc of explosiveness...

Found a nice little vid that shows the glowing blue energy disc in action... ignore the music though.

You've got a point; I never said anything about the Force and/or an ability to foresee danger, so I'd be SOL as a regular human being with regular reflexes.

Basically you want what borderlands promised when they announced the game. You want a bunch of different parts that would be randomly combined into different guns. Dunno why they had to make it boring by changing everything I liked about that game...

Gah, I haven't eaten for 2 days (out of food/money till I go home after exams), curse you for making me remember I'm hungry >.<

a magic cartoon mallet that despite being huge is lightweight and can be stored in any pocket it contains a boxing glove on a string and can non lethally flatten people if friendly

I think I'd go for an "Angry Kitteh" launcher. With fur-frizzing fire rate of fifty furballs per second, I can swarm my enemy with cuteness. And rage.

That is almost my dream weapon. See, mine has a slight difference, in that its targets explode in a fiery burst of sunshine, lollipops and blood.
