Your Dream World...

A friend (who is a writer) recently told me the plot to his new book and it involves a man living in his dream world where he can make anyone bend to his will.

So I wondered - What would youre dream world be and what would be inside it? How would it work and how many people would there be in it?

And would it play out like a Pokémon game?

Well, the world population would be limited to people who don't annoy the hell out of me. So instead of 6 billion people, it would be more like 60.

To be honest, at the moment my dream world is one where I'm asleep.

If this world is based on my dreams then it'd be very weird, though if the world is based on fantasy then it'd be very... how to put this delicately?...


But yes, being able to bend people to my will would definitely be included, though there probably wouldn't be too many people in it.

I'd do whatever comes to my mind. With powers like that, there's no point to fix yourself on one specific thing.
I might even do a Pokemon-part, yes.

Me having the director of some sort of supercool huge company. Where I basically sit in an office (Like Alec Baldwin in 30 rock) doing nothing but wearing a business outfit, entertaining myself and acting important. (involving secretaries and intercoms)

I get loads of money for doing it and nobody wonders what my actual role is in the success of the company. Even though my employees treat me like a god and I always show my face in public events and strike up all the credit. Ill probably even show up at fashion shows, movie premieres etc. And get voted 'best dressed man on the red carpet' by paparazzi.

When I get bored of my office ill go out and play golf or take pleasure trips on my jacht with my hot wife and/or business acosiates (my current friends)

population of the world consists only of at least reasonably intelligent people, the death penalty is in effect, lie detectors actually work, and the pokemon aspect is that people can save their existence at any time.

My perfect world would be like the world is now... except without like, nuclear weapons. I'm not a hippie, but I just don't like the idea of dying unexpectedly because some idiot is having a bad foreign relations day.

Also I'd be rich.

A world where my basic world belief is a actual law of reality:

"If i'm not thinking about you existing then you don't."

That way, I can be surprised by the complexity of my subconscious mind when I accidentally re-create the world as it is now.

I would take a primitve unmolded dimension, and change it to have anything I wanted at will.

Basically just primordial energies everywhere that I can form into worlds and impose physics on.

Plus making anything you want at will would be sweet, especially if you could get people from our normal current dimension in there...
