KING'S CUP (may have other names, we call it King's Cup)
I'm bored so I will tell the rules:
1. You need a large pitcher or something, we use das boot (a glass boot) just anything that is large and easy to pour into...
2. Deck of cards
3. Group of at least 3 friends unless you want to get plastered.
Choose your beer of choice and have refills handy.
Sit at a table (or our fave, sit in a circle on the floor)
Place "King's Cup" in the middle of the circle.
Place the deck of cards face-down all around the "King's Cup" and mix them up good.
Easy as pie, first person chooses a card, flips it right side up to reveal it and it continues around the circle until the game is over.
HOW THE GAME ENDS:
Name of the game is King's Cup, there are 4 Kings in the deck. When the person draws a king, they must pour some (or we just pour all) of their remaining drink into the King's Cup. (If your friends determine your beer is almost empty, you may want to dump a full beer in) : )
The person who draws the 4th and last King WINS and gets to drink ALL of the King's Cup!
Now, here are what the other cards mean...
Ace (social)- Everyone cheers one another, and drinks to their liking. (be careful)
Two (is for you) - Person who drew the card passes out 2 drinks to anyone in the circle
Three (is for me) - Person who drew the card must take three drinks
Four (is for wh*res) - Girls drink.
Five (up high) - Person who drew the card raises their hand and the last person to raise theirs must take a drink. If undecided everyone drinks.
Six (for haha, you know) - Guys drink.
Seven (waterfall) - Person who drew the card controls the waterfall, and chooses the direction the waterfall will go. The idea is that everyone starts drinking their own beverage at the same time. Whoever drew the 7 is the first person that can stop drinking. No one else at the table can stop until the person in front of them has stopped.
Eight (mate) - Person who drew the card must pick a mate to drink with.
Nine (rhyme) - Person who drew the card picks a word (not orange or purple), then the next person must come up with a word that rhymes with it. It continues around the circle until someone is stumped or messes it up. That person must drink.
Ten (catagories) - Person who drew the card comes up with a catagory, and it goes around the circle with people naming things in the catagory. i.e. (Car Companies: saab, toyota, honda, etc.) Person who is stumped or messes up takes a drink.
Jack (make a rule) - Person who drew the card makes up a rule, which will be in play til the game is over. For example, you can make a "no cursing" rule, and anyone who curses through the rest of the game has to drink, until the person who made the rule says STOP.
Queen (question) - Person who drew the card asks the person to the right or left a question. They must then ask someone else a question instead of answering yours. The idea behind this rule is to NEVER answer a question. If you ANSWER OR PAUSE too long you must drink!
King (Kings Cup) - Fill the King's Cup with the remainder of your beer. Last King drawn is the winner and gets to get drunker than anyone else.
Joker (wild card) - You can make up any rule you want..
You can really mix things up and change the rules around, as we have over the years, which I think is the funnest thing about this game, you can customize it and make it your own.
Still one of the most popular drinking games in my book...
GOTTA GO! it's 4:20. Cheers! : )
