What is the first thing you can remember? It does not need to be interesting or amusing, it just needs to be first.

My 4th birthday, I woke up in my bed, and my present was a green Gameboy Pocket with the game Kirby's Dream Land.

It would be a few weeks before my sister was born. My mom was walking through the hallway and turned so I saw her. She was big.

This was when I was three-and-a-half.

My current earliest memory is of a bad dentist ripping out my two front teeth without any kind of numbing agent. They also weren't loose and were actually tightly held in place by an infection.
Oh god the pain. Haven't trusted or liked a dentist since.

Oh my...well it was Christmas 1992 and I got a toy phone (and my brother got a Snes wtf?) and theres a video of my brother trying to take the phone off me and yeah I kinda smacked him on the head with it.

Edit - No wait I was about 18 months old and I used to get thrown over the stairs and my brothers spent half a hour sliding me across the banister....bastards.

I think when I was in my crib,after that its blank until i'm a toddler satnding in between the living room and den unknowing why.from there on it's all patchy,I have terrible memory of my childhood,blaming the fact that I had to clean the toilet with chemicals,as a small child,but yeah in my crib

Taking a magnet and putting it on the TV so that it changed into a line of purple.

It fixed itself somehow.

I had an accident when I was about 2 years old where I fell into an empty swimming pool.
I remember the fall, and what I saw.. I guess the shock must've burned those images into my mind or somethin'.

And sometimes I think I remember being in my mother's womb, but nobody believes me. Light at the end of the tunnel an all. My transition from death to life =D

I was three-ish and I remember my mom pointing out the window of the family car ,and talking you me about something.I was sitting in her lap with my other sister who was I think 1-ish.

I believe it was when we first got our N64. (I was two.) It was a late birthday present to my brother.

My first memory was when I was 2 and one of my cats died, something ate him and left him disemboweled on my front porch.

The first one I know is an actual memory and not something my mind pieced together from stories I've been told is of bringing my mum a damp cloth when she was stuck in bed with some illness. Not sure how old I was, at least three, maybe four.
