So, I just finished repairing my sisters laptop ac-adapter. Had to solder the wire and hot-glue the plug back on. The feat, in itself, is a bit of a workaround. But what made it in my opinion an epic kludge was that I didn't have a soldering iron, I used a tea-candle instead.

Any kludges that you have made worth mentioning? Please, no linking to thereifixedit.com.

The heck is a kludge?
I had to look it up, it is a way of fixing something that is incredibly unconventional (Like what he did with the candle).
OT: I don't have any.

A kludge (or kluge) is a workaround, a quick-and-dirty solution, a clumsy or inelegant, yet effective, solution to a problem, typically using parts that are cobbled together. - Wiki

OT: No, none that I can think... well... maybe one.
I have an AC that hooks up to the window with an intake hose and an out-take hose, but it requires a window that slides open and closed. The windows I have are opened via crank and they do not slide open, they go outwards to open. So I took the screen off of the window, got a piece of Cardboard to fit in the open window, cut out holes for the hoses and taped the entire thing up until it was all attached to the window.
