Well, im curious to know what most people play as in the fallout trilogy.
Personally, on all 3 I play a sneak/sniper/first aid character, and I find it extremely fun.
On all 3 I also play as a neutral character, mainly because I like doing good quests, but I still like killing people who piss me off, namely Moira and stealing my ammo, rather then buying it.

Also, whats your favorite weapon on any of the fallout games? ( Pick one, dont pick one from each =) )
Mine would have to be the victory rifle from Fallout 3.

EDIT: If you are specialized in almost everything, take what you had in the beggining of the game.

EDIT2: Also, if you use any mods, recommend them =)

Well, at level 30 my character has become, well... God.

Every skill is maxed to 100, all SPECIALS are either 9 or 10. It's a little overpowered I think.

But was totally worth it for an extra ten levels of 'ka-ching's.

Favorite weapon:

Ol' Painless - such a satisfying CRACK!

Least favorite - anything that goes Pew Pew

Almost always
Small Guns/Big guns/First Aid/Outsdoor/Speech

High Perception, High Agility, Low Endurance, Low Luck
Good Karma

and I was thinking of playing a fists-only type of character in F3, if I remember correctly it was almost impossible in F1+2

EDIT: Fav weapon would be the ripper, or Vindicator Minigun in F2.
EDIT2: oh yeah, and the Lockpick, but also Gambling, because around 100 it gives you tremendous amounts of cash

I haven't really got far in Fallout or Fallout 2. Although I do own them so can I get some bonus points?

In Fallout 3 I didn't really specialise in anything other than looking like a punk cowboy and shooting things.

Fists in F3 is awesome once you get the Deathclaw Hand. Was the most fun I had on any of my characters

I tend to put my points in repair, lockpicking, and small guns. My favorite kind of weapon has always been the shotgun. I use that unique shotgun stolen from the merchant in evergreen mills whenever I have enough spare shotguns to repair the thing. I tend to be a hoarder whenever I play Fallout. By level 5, I tend to have more than enough ammunition and points in repair that I never need to go back to the merchants for anything. I only go back to my Megaton house whenever I need to unload a bunch of crap that I picked up from my latest round of victims. I think I have 8 or 9 sets of fully repaired Enclave battle armor in there, as well as an equal number of other kinds of armor. I all did the scavenger hunt and got Ol' Painless, The Break, Stabhappy, Plunkett's Valid Points, The ubique Chinese assault Rifle, Vengeance, Jack, The medic power armor, T51d power armor, Wazer Wifle, Fawkes Super Sledge, and a few of the unique items from Mothership Zeta. I have 30 Chinese Assault Rifles, all fully repaired BTW.

I have only played the game as Good.

Well, I sneak and use a shotgun.
The sneak-attack criticals from it are monstrous.

But, with the coming of Broken Steel, my guy has 100 in everything.

Fallout 2: Usually Small guns, speech and steal (or lockpick)

Int and Agl highest with 9 or 10 in each. Don't remember the other stats, didn't put much in strength and endurance since they are both rather pointless in my opinion (I mean Power armor gives you +4 and the implant another 1+ so that's 5 extra strength throughout the game). Luck was average or maybe a bit above it.

fallout 1: energy weapons + speech + (small guns or steal) + high agility
fallout 2: small guns + high agility + energy guns
fallout 3: repair + small guns + lockpick + 9 int (switching to big guns through the game)

FO 1/2 is all about finishing with the turbo plasma rifle
FO 3 is best with flamers and gatling lasers
