I'm the black sheep in the family as it were. I go my own way, and I'm not like anyone in my family, nor do I want to be.

Although I do tend to get into some temper tantrums like my Grandfather. That's about it.

Physically I'm very similar to my dad.

Personality wise I think I'm more like my uncle. He spent almost all of the money he earnt on cool stuff. He played WoW, had a pimping computer chair setup. Almost unlimited Coke.

Except he was a badass and in the army.

My two cousins are the only people I can really relate to. The rest of my family annoys me honestly, but hey, at least they aren't violent drunks and assholes, rather just be annoyed.

Nope, every one is an opposite. I love video games, my dad hates them, my mom can't swim, I'm on my Highschools swim team, and my sister is a ***** and I'm really nice.

I'm growing more and more like my dad, which I consider a good thing. He's the smartest person I know.

My blood family shares my Latvian blood. That's the only important similarity.

My friend family shares conflict. All of us have been through the systems and mastered them at the expense of their health. I know 4 who acquired migraines, 1 other who acquired cluster headaches, 43 of whom have developed moderate depression, 33 others with mild depression, and 13 who have acquired an anxiety disorder. None of them have gone unscathed in their journey. These are people who are renowned in the city for their expertise at young ages, some who decided this was their path and willingly took the pains, others who wish they never bothered after they've been through. It's... complicated.

Physically I look more like my dad than anyone else in my family, but other than that I have my own Personality.

My mom cares but can be a bit much. My sisters are awesome, always got something funny to say. My dad can take his alcoholic hypocritical ass and fuck off. Extended family is a mixed bag. Their either nice, meh, or not annoying enough.

People in my family constantly tell me that I remind them of my granddiddy (that's "Grandfather" to you). I listen to classical music when I go to bed, switch subjects while I'm talking, have a fascination with Japan, etc.

So, do you have a person in your family who is almost just like you?
Closest one would probably be my brother, but on the other hand he's got alot more confidence which makes a huge difference.

From what I've seen, I looked exactly like my father when he was younger though, which is kinda funny in a black and white photo.

I'm told I look like my grandfather, I guess that's pretty good. Also, one thing I don't have in common with my family is that they're all smart overachievers except for me :(

You sound a lot like me actually I also listen to classical music when I sleep though my mom always comes in at midnight and turns it off because its "too loud", and I switch topics a lot I used to be interested in Japan because I imagined a quiet Buddhist monastaries nestled in tranguille Himalayan lanscapes then I learned how weird anime and all the other stuff they come up with is and how if I wanted that I should probaly go to Nepal.

OT: People tell me that I look like my grandfather on my mom's side and I'm a lot like my dad in that I'm afraid of heights and I don't like crowds.

My mother's family has a disproportionally high sum of problems compared to my Dad's even though sometimes he isn't the sharpest saw in the shed.

I think I'm really the only one who's like I am in my family. In fact, it's like I'm so unlike my own family I fear I may have well been adopted.
