I'm currently coming up with the story for a Fan-fiction in the Half Life 2 universe following two scouts in their pursuits to map the surrounding areas of White Forest and reclaim the intelligence of the Resistance when it was lost by Eli getting killed at the end of Episode 2.

It was...interesting.
Magneto was Bucky back in WWII
Spider-man went on to create a Spider Dynasty
Wolverine was the leader of the Brotherhood

Half an hour later, I had two pages of my Fire Emblem 7 army fighting Deathwing (of Warcraft) at Dragon's Gate.
