I'd have a wolf that's big enough to ride, mainly because that would be an awesome mode of transportation, and you could coax it to poop on the lawns of your enemies and yeah, those would be some BIG poops... hehehe...

A adorable little cat that rides around on your shoulder that can turn into a giant sabertooth cat THAT CAN FLY.

A black, one eyed, talking wolf that can transform into different weapons like a revolver, dagger, spear, sword, etc. that would be sweet.

I don't like the term "pet" as I don't think someone should be able to own another lifeform. Instead I'll call them Friend or Companion. I like companion.

I knew right away who my fantasy companion would be.
