Recount to the rest of us your favorite tale of stupidity. It doesn't have to be a Darwin award but that is a good place to start. The story can be a personal experience or it can be a news story as long as it is not a work of fiction.
My personal favorite? One day a fellow decided he needed some extra money. He thought that the best solution was to go on a string of robberies around the state of Washington. His first target would be a store called H&J Leather and Firearms which sells, you guessed it, guns. Proving that he was an idiot beyond measure he continued to enter the store even though he had to walk around a police cruiser to get to the door. After entering the store he noticing that, not only were there shit tons of guns everywhere, there was also a uniformed police officer at the desk having a cup of coffee. Somehow he still did not just turn around and walk out but pulled a .38 and informed the clerk, the officer and the patrons that he would be robbing the establishment. The officer, the clerk and several customers all drew weapons and pointed them at the would be robber and a gun battle ensued. The robber died later at the hospital while no one else was hurt.
