I have a Gatling Laser called Vengeance. You can find it deep in the Deathclaw Cavern thing in the northern wastes. But it degrades like a *****.

Rockit Launcher. Not the most powerful gun (so I don't take it if I intend to loot) but I just love launching mutilated body parts, books, and plungers in vats.

i usually like to go with the A3-21 plasma rifle, because it can be found early in the game, and its degrade is reasonable, not to quick to break down, but when it does start to its annoying to fix, under that i always go with either Ol' Painless, or Vengeance, both are amazing, Ol' Painless is one of the easiest weapons to repair and get ammo for, and vengeance is just an amazing weapon, also if i'm in a glitch abusing kind of mood, the original (no DLC) Col. Autumn's Laser Pistol is fun to mess around with

Firstly, there's the metal blaster, not much feels better than useing a laser shotgun to blast a muties head off. Second, the gaues rifle, laser dot sight makes it an incredibly accurate weapon, and with alien epoxy, its easy to keep it maintained. Third, nuka-grenades. Firey blue explosion of carbonated death, 'nough said...and power fist is always funny to watch

not sure what you mean by railgun (gauss rifle?), geck is a water creation system that kills you when you activate it...

Yeah, i forgot the gauss rifles in-game name, and the GECK is also a pet name for the damage calculator of Fo3.
