It´s been a week since I saw Kill Bill 1 and 2 for the first time and I loved it. My favourite scene was in the caravan, but that´s just because Budd was my favourite character. (I KNEW that he hadn´t sold his sword)

Also, ALOT of scenes from Cowboy Bebop

Saw this film the other day and was blown away by it.

My choice would have to be Equilibrium's final fight scene

'No, not without incident', that line gets me every time and then the fight scene almost sends me into a seizure it's that good.

Oh, so many scenes running through my head, can't pick just one...

The fight scene with Creedy and the men and the knives at the end of V for Vendetta was pretty awesome, enhanced with badass one-liners galore.

Basically the whole of Kung Fu Hustle had incredible fight scenes, but I think the bit where all the townsfolk come out and reveal that they are all martial arts geniouses was pretty awesome.

But the greatest fight scene I've ever seen?

That's definitely one of the best, and most technically impressive, fight scenes out there. Fantastic film as well.

Another particular favourite of mine is the fight on the lake from Hero. I don't care how impossible it is, I defy you to find a more beautiful fight scene.

And, regardless of its other flaws, it can't be denied that the Anakin vs. Obi-Wan fight from Revenge of the Sith was absolutely spectacular.

At the moment it would probably have to be the scene in Ip Man where he fights like 15 Japanese martial artists at once. It's like watching a giant swatting flies. He makes it look completely effortless.

My would be this-
I just love the slow mo to the scene (when the raindrop splash onto his speedy face and that final strike).

Not so much a "fight" scene as it is a "All out War" scene (if that makes any sense)
but for me It's got to Be "Of their own accord" From MW2 the sheer sight of the Whitehouse under siege was unbelievable to watch the First (or in my case 30th) time you play it!

I WANTED to embed the Fight Club scene where the narrator beats himself up in front of his boss, but there is no good quality version of it on YouTube.

So just picture it and imagine I said something witty about it.

Whatever you might have thought about G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, I was sold solely on young Snake-Eyes vs. young Storm Shadow:

That's right, two boys on the cusp of puberty had a more brutal and convincing fight scene than anything Hollywood's done in years.

Oh yeah, we actually watched that movie in school. I like that he still got a knife in his back when he leaves the building. Old Boy is a pretty good movie, although it takes a lot of getting used to when you are familiar with western movies only.
Imagine making just ONE mistake, and you had to re-shoot the entire scene. Sucks to be the guy who screws up at the end

Now THAT is what I call a face-off... No? Alright, lame puns aside. I love that fight scene, especially the swordfight with the black guy. I love how it only takes a couple of seconds to take him down

You were allowed to watch Oldboy in school? Wow, my school would definatly not allow that... but yes, the fight scene in the film is brilliant.

It was in one of our classes called Cultural Understanding. We saw it in our last lesson we had, i'm finishing my studies in a couple of days now. It was a nice way to end that class. On a second note. The scene where he
cuts of his tounge towards the end
... was really cringe worthy

I wish I could find a good copy on Youtube, but one of my favourite fight scenes in a movie has to be Macbeth and Macduff in the 1971 Roman Polanski directed "Macbeth". Sure it's nowhere near as stylized or well choreographed as with newer movies, but there is something cathartic about watching two actors dressed in full medieval armor beating the crap out of each other.

I'm gonna have to go with the fight at the end of Snatch. It's not all fight though so it might not count. In that case I will go with Teresa of the Faint Smile vs Noel & Sophia & Ilena & Priscilla from Claymore. 1 v 4 and filled with awesome. Also I remember the small sparring match between Clare and Miria from the same anime being fun as well despite not being a major scene. I just liked the way it was animated.

I was going to pick Equilibrium but someone else ninja'd me.

So, I give you Repo Men. The quality is shitty but it's a great scene
