Skyward Sword, Sonic Generations, Bastion, Super Mario Galaxy (1 and 2), Final Fantasy 13 (despite being a tad lackluster of a game), there are just too many great soundtracks for me to list.

A couple of my favorite songs are from visual novels, one from Katawa Shoujo.

And another from Fate Stay Night

Persona 4: It's so happy and fun and intense and fun and great. /gush
Okami: just peaceful and epic for a game I should have played long ago.
Silent Hill 2: okay really I just like the intro music video. It just kicks ass!
Kingdom Hearts: Such pwetty music.
TWEWY: I was really surprised by how much awesomeness could be held in one DS game.

Fallout 3's soundtrack was great, along with the Hell March from Red Alert.

And basically everything from Journey and the TES games I own are incredible.

Wow. I can't believe I left that one out. That was my absolute favorite song back when I did nothing but play Tiberian Dawn. That, and Mechanical Man.

As soon as I saw that you posted Act on Instinct, I grabbed for my TFD disc to reisnstall it.

Though not my favorites, I would like to add the Timesplitters series. Those soundtracks were quite awesome.
I did something similar recently. I heard Act on Instinct in some random internet video, so I got on Amazon and Bought C&C 64. So now I have it on N64 and PC. :p

Both are quite good. I was surprised with the high quality of MW2's soundtrack. Then I found out that it was composed by Hans Zimmer and it became obvious why it is so good.

Skyrim
Medal Of Honor (PS1)
Halo 2
Golden Sun:The Lost Age
Spyro 2:Ripto's Rage

These 5 are the greatest soundtracks ever made, take a listen and try and prove me wrong.

Chrono Trigger would have been my favourite if I didn't get Rick Rolled by Robo's theme every time.

Mass Effect 2 was good- a bit samey at parts, but you can't have too much of a good thing, I suppose.

I'm going to have to go with either Infamous or Final Fantasy VI.

Chrono Cross and Chrono Trigger, no question about it, Mitsuda is a god and not other composer can be compared to him. I'm listening to "Voyage ~ Home World ~" from Chrono Cross right now.

Also, the soundtrack from Bastion is amazing too, my favorite after CT's and CC's. I bought the CD version just a couple of hours after I started playing the game, it has Darren's signature and everything. :D

Another really good would be Zelda: Ocarina of Time, the music from that game brings back so much good memories.
