My robot can regenerate himself, has superior alien technology, has morals and intelligence, and he can blast all your puny excuses of a robot... also he has a great heart and soul, and is resistent to almost all kinds of blasts... and if you happen to dismantle him, he will just reassemble easily.
Also some of his weapons are made from "Everything" piercing lasers and Nuke Blasts....
So... you guys were saying?

And the raven actually. Cute little scout mech, prime example of Electronic Warfare in the Battletech Universe.
Love the BattleTech Mechs, often slow lumbering walls of pure *death*. None of this fancy pansy gundam stuff where the robots prance around all a lallygagging, nah, these are MENS mechs, giant pieces of metal with guns attached. The sort of thing you imagine German scientists thinking up had World War 2 taken place a few hundred years later than it did!
And of those, the Daishi is my favourite. It's a Tiger Tank on legs, pure steel and weaponry, slow moving and ponderous, but my god, if you ever find yourself in their crosshairs you've not a chance in hell of surviving. 100 tons of pure, unstoppable firepower!

Considering Shoji Kowamori (Macross Mecha Designer) has a background in engineering and tries to make his mecha designs as realistic as possible, you could argue that they're more realistic...
But Giant Robots aren't realistic, they are for aesthetic and awesome.

The Shinkirou from Code Geass R2, just because in order to effectively control its epic shield system it you need to type on a huge holo-keyboard. Besides I'd prefer to be in the mech with the most shields in the middle of a war anyway. Oh and theres a chest mounted laser for giggles XD
