Depends, I might join the Royal Air Force, and their snipers use the very same sniper rifle from Counter Strike Source. You know...the AWP =p Actually called the L115A1 Sniper Rifle.
I am no gun expert though, anything I do like is just based on films and games, but I always loved the small, cute and futuristic look of a P90.

I'm a big fan of the PSG-1. Semi auto and VERY accurate. It can kill you and your whole squad in a matter of seconds.

I gues silencers arnt that bad if your sneaking into an enemy campsite and you want to kill everyone without them noticing.

erm the M1911 probably, it just seems classy some how. or the UCP and UMP for their awesome names. i quite like the FN Forty Nine and Five seveN as well...
Edit: mine gun doesn't have the golden birds, they're just silver which looks better.
Edit again: my mate made this random gun out of bits of plumbing which fires anything you can get down the barrel, and makes the coolest noise ever
