Simple question. What is your favorite indie game. It could be PC, flash, XBLA, IOS.

For me its got to be minecraft (obviously choice)

mine would be Chelsea and the 7 Devils/Bunny Must Die

I find it to be a brilliantly hard game

Amnesia: The Dark Descent.

I still freak out when I play it in the dark.

I think I've dotted a lot in Fate of the World, Winter Voices was cool as well.

Mount & Blade definitely.

But I have my eye on a lot of seemingly great indie games, so this answer might change when I get around to buying and playing them.

Have to say Audiosurf, Bit.trip RUNNER or Recettear. Afraid I don't play that many indie games.

The Path by Tale of Tales. You either find it annoying and tedious, or it sticks in your mind for days after you're done as you turn over its multiple meanings. For some people it does both.

At the other extreme, pure silly 3D Unity fun with Velociraptor Safari by Blurst. You drive a jeep around at top speed, running over velociraptors and doing stunts. Free, last I checked, although there's a for purchase full screen version.

I thought I was going to be apart of the herd in saying Minecraft.

I've got indie neh-sayers addicted to that game.

A tie between Captain Forever, Time Fcuk and Spewer. Minecraft is obviously great, but I wouldn't consider it to be indie in that bedroom coder kind of way. I'm not sure why.

I haven't played many indie games (though I seem to be playing more these days, since they're generally relatively cheap on Steam), but from what I have played my favourite is Aquaria. I fell in love with it when I first played it, and time hasn't deadened that.
