Proton Jon's Superman 64 LP my god does he put a lot of effort into those videos between doing research, getting interviews with the game's developer, and just trying to play the game without going insane must an immense task that might explain why he only uploads one part every 6 months.

Damn, I was about to suggest ProtonJon. Been a fan of his since his Mario Romhack vids.

Also, his Battletoads 4-player race was freaking awesome.

I enjoy the LPs of Chuggaconroy, Blametruth, NintendoCaprisun, HCBailey, and most recently, PokeCinema. Blametruth is definitely the least mature of the bunch, and his audience consists primarily of 13-17 boys, but I still like his videos. I like his pokemon videos alot, and he seems to be pretty good at pokemon battling online too. NintendoCaprisun and HCBailey seem really similar to me, the main difference being that NintendoCaprisun does nintendo games, and HCBailey does Final Fantasy games and jrpgs. I found PokeCinema just a little while ago, but he is a pretty cool guy, and cares enough about his fans to allow them to add him on skype and have conversations with them. And as for Chuggaconroy, well he's just great and you don't need me to tell you that.

 

[General Twinkletoes]

Omfgcata, totalbiscuit (especially terraria), the yogscast (especially magicka). I don't really like Shadow of israphel though - I like their mod spotlights and other games.
I really only like the TGS channels, there's no machinima channel that I'm interested in at all now that Wowcrendor moved to tgs. I really don't like tobuscus, uberhaxornova, pewdiepie, people like that. Just not interesting.

But I really recommend the terraria and magicka series, they are so good, and terraria is still going, although there hasn't been an episode in a while.

Some of the more popular Let's Play video casters are:

Guy#1
Announces he's never played the game before, spends about three episodes fumbling with the interface and basic concepts of the game, and frequently states he's an idiot. It's great fun watching him constantly miss the point, begin sentences he's unable to complete, and switch focus to completely irrelevant junk to fill the gap. I usually thumbs-down that guy and leave immediately.

Guy#2
Announce he's played Version 1 of the game, and then spends the whole series explaining how in Version 1, you could do this-or-that. Apparently his audience does not contain people who played Version 1. It's a drag listening to him drone on about his memories of a game he's not playing, like listening to someone narrate their vacation videos.

Guy#3
Spends the whole episode talking about his Other let's play videos that you should check out, and his personal life, his cat, the reason he didn't post a video yesterday, why the sound quality sucks and the music is too loud, his new computer....Anything except the game.

Good Let's Play videocasters are hard to find.

And this is why I hate TheRadBrad so much: he's all three combined. Seriously, how the hell is that guy so popular? HE'S A TOOL.

Anyway, I enjoy Game Informer's Super Replays. Those and Yahtzee and Gabe's LP's.
