Say who your favorite protaganist of a video game is and why.

Haseo (duh) .hack//G.U. vol.1-3

Unlike other J-RPG protaganists, Haseo starts out as a total dick, he insults the other characters in vol. 1, (but then he stops being like that)
He can summon the avatar Skeith, and Skeith is a total badass. He has a kick-ass variety of weapons such as his dual knives, big-ass broad sword, scythe, and dual guns.
His outfits are totaly awesome.

Freaking Jack Carver from Far cry: instincts. I mean, he's the ultimate hunter and can through you across a ravine then jump across the ravine, land before you do, through you into the darkest cave know to man, follow you, still see you and every thing within range x2, watch you run away then follow you by scent and then bash your face with his bare hands till you very closely resemble red apple sauce and then wipe his hands that still look perfect.

It's a tie between Gordon Freeman, Louis and that guy from Bioshock. Mainly becuase in the gaming world of strong, smartass space marines and generally unlikeable characters, these guys are kid of relatable to.

Bout time i found someone who appreciates The first Far Cry games

I'm going to go with The Nameless One from Planescape: Torment for numerous reasons -

1. He made a pact with a Night Hag to separate his body and his mortality in order to cheat death.

2. As a result, he can't fricking die (no matter how hard he tries).

3. He can cut you into tiny pieces, creep around in the shadows and pickpocket you before backstabbing you or destroy you with magic.

4. He's lived hundreds of lives and eventually remembers the skills from all of them.

5. He has magical tattoos instead of armour.

6. His best friend is a floating, talking skull that he pulled out of Hell.

7. He plucked out his own eye to shove one from an earlier life back into the socket to regain some memories.

8. He routinely kills himself in front of people and then gets back up to prove a point.

9. He can talk to the dead (including, in one instance, an urn full of ashes).

10. He can resurrect the recently killed.

11. In an argument, he once convinced a man that he did not exist - the man vanished from existence as a result.

11. He's damned to fight in an endless war between the Demons and the Fiends (the Blood War) because he did something immeasurably evil in his first life, hence the pact with the Hag.
