Probably either Ren and Stimpy or Spongebob. Both pretty great, and having watched Ren and Simpy recently, I now realize (like everyone else seems to have realized) that it's extremely psychotic.

It's a dead heat between Rocko's Modern Life and Invader Zim. Both were brilliant shows that managed to sneak in a lot of adult humor into what was supposed to be shows for children. Especially Rocko. Joe Murray is a god at getting crap past the radar. While I can get Zim on DVD, I don't think Rocko ever made it. I hear Murray's trying to get the rights to it so that can happen.
OH YEAH, YOU'LL LIKE THIS: For the record Nickelodeon has a nasty habit of fucking over the most creative shows. As far as my favorites; Joe Murray was very dismayed that Rocko was being discontinued and that he had no creative rights to it and Jhonen Vasquez had some very unkind things (read that as string of profanity) to say about the studio executives. And while I never watched The Angry Beavers, they take home the award for actually recording an in-character, giant "fuck you!" to the network upon being canceled... and here it is in all its glory:

1. Avatar: The Last Airbender - Can't wait for The Legend of Korra!
2. Invader Zim - Such a shame it was cancelled, I'm surprised it managed to get through one season.
3. Spongebob Squarepants - Seasons 1,2 and 3 only! Everything after the movie sucked!

I was always annoyed by the lazy parenting of naming your kids the same name. Michelle Trachtenburg (spelling?) grew up well though.King of the Sandbox said:

Ultimately Avatar is the best in my opinion. My friend and I were channel surfing on the night it first aired and ended up watching all of it not realizing it was a Nickelodeon kids show. That is a pretty damn amazing feat of story telling.
