Ahhh... the Olympics. The smell of nations united to give the best sports can offer. And "giving out medals of beautiful gold, so-so silver and shameful bronze". So I came here this beautiful sunday to ask you guys which have been your favorite Olympic games.

Now, I was born in 91, so the first games I witnessed were the Barcelona games, tho I don't remember a thing. Then the Atlanta games, which I do remember a bit, I had my Izzy doll, and it was awesome. Then Sydney, I remember this ones better than previous ones, but they weren't great. Then those in Athens, they weren't awesome either. Two years ago, we saw them Beijing games. The one left are the 2012 London Olympiad. And I'm guessing those will be awesome.

So overall, my favorite olympic games were the Atlanta ones, I remember those fondly because they were good times in my family.

Another question for the thread:

If you went to the olypics, which sport would you participate in?

I would definitely be in the throwing games, javelin, discs, etc. Because I'm good at throwing stuff.

Also, swimming and biking, because, let's face it, how hard can it be?

I love the winter Olympics more than the summer ones. The last Olympic games in Vancouver was the first time I watched them fully. I seriously didn't learn anything in school during those two weeks; I was too busy catching up on if Canada or Switzerland won any medals. Plus, the hockey match finale was awesome and one of the tensest sports games I've seen, and I don't watch a lot of sports.

So I'll go with Vancouver 2010. My favourite sports are usually anything skiing related. I really liked watching Ski Jump, with Switzerland's Simmi Ammann. Ski-cross and Snowboard-cross were cool new additions, too.

If I had to participate in a sport... Ugh. I don't think I would, because they're all so dangerous. I'd rather watch it than do it! But if I had to choose, I'd go with what you went with, biking. I'm not a good biker at all but at least I won't die unless my lungs pop.

Edit:

Archery. I'd be shit compared to everyone else there, but it's the only sport I enjoy.

EDIT: Whoops, I thought you meant which game at the Olympics was your fave, not which actual Olympic games as a whole. I really don't have a favourite of those O_O
There's archery? Nevermind then, I'm doing that!

NO! dude! I was going to make another thread about Winter Olympics!

*sigh* Well, so much for that plan.

Mine were the 2002 Salt Lake City.

My favorite sport is Bobsled.
