My favourite overkill weapon? I know its cheating but Godmode Crowbar on HL2 is really fun. Oh and Archimedes Orbital Laser, I haven't shot it yet as I'm waiting for an awesome moment to use it.

In a case of being infinitely more bad-arse than it sounds, the 'Riot Shield' in LAPD Future Cop was essentially a force field doubling as a wave of mass destruction around the player. Switch it on, walk into enemy base and kill EVERYTHING whilst laughing at them.
