Huzzah, another chance to post the theme from Sunshine.

To me, this is the perfect song. It goes with EVERYTHING.

Yep, though I figured out it was a good one long before that (the song is already one hour into the movie). I didn't know that Murphy had performed on Broadway though, so thanks for pointing that out.
I didn't know either untill I watched the extras and saw Doc Ock's wife in the recording booth.

Fun fact: The guy who did the character designs for Tangled also worked on Aladdin.
I'm aware of that, since I usually watch the credits and have a... special memory.

Didn't mean it like that. I have a condition wherein I can only recall things when I concentrate, but when I do, I can remember things perfectly from years back. It can be quite a pain since I am for example unable to recognize people on the streets, unless I concentrate on their faces.

The Outsider by A Perfect Circle, from Resident Evil: Afterlife.
We Hate You Please Die by Crash and the Boys, from Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World.

I don't care what you say about the romance scene in the movie, the song works, the scene works, it's gorgeous, and it's a great movie (Opinion, I don't wish to argue it).

From Kingpin, it's only a 10-15 second snippet in the movie, but the song is probably the best in an entire soundtrack mostly made up of 70s music (I think this and a song by Blues Traveler is all the current band songs in the movie).

From Mulholland Drive, I love me some Roy Orbison, but this cover in the movie sent chills up my spine, as I'm sure it did for many.

I am still working towards buying Metropolis so I can get the Giorgio Moroder version on DVD (Long Story), but when I heard this song, I fell in love. It's years ahead the official soundtrack version. Good soundtrack, nonetheless, but this version is amazing.

Lovely song indeed. What did you think of my picks?
The one from Alladin is a CLASSIC. Everyone should know and love that one!
The others are good songs too, but I haven't seen those movies yet.
I'd love to see them in the context of the entire movie first! :D

The opening song from Nightmare Before Christmas is excellent.

Not made for a film, Bob Dylan's, The Times They Are-a Changin' In Watchmen, Mainly for the beautifull opening credits that go with it. and in terms of a song made for a film, the Across The Universe version of Hapiness Is A Warm Gun.
