Thread cloning makes baby Jesus cry.
Baby Jesus must be dead by now from dehydration.

Saints Row. It isn't entirely a GTA clone seeing as it adds so much more extra fun to gaming.

Okay, I got one. Ring of Red from Konami for the PS2.
Seconded, but having to play through a scenario for hours before you could have a concrete save (the quickfile erases when you turn off the PS2) really hurts. Not to mention the fact that if you made one wrong move, you would have wasted hours of your time when you had to restart the scenario over again.

I'll also drop Persona 2 for the PS. Fun story, with clever mechanics that can have you playing for hours before you realize it.

Shining Soul 2 for GBA was brilliantly simple and ALOT of fun, yet not too common.
If they made a third for DS i think it would be very popular.
Shaman King was also fun, if too short and easy.

Setlers: Rise of an empire. I'll admit it's not the most complex or engaging game ever but it always gets me in a happy mood. Especially the snowy stages (^.^).

Yeah, I've been here less time than most people and even I've seen this thread about 4 times in the last month.

Kill.Switch (PS2)
Genuinely tense FPS that had me chewing the controller.
ummm, Kill.Switch was a third-person shooter.
i'm pretty mad that it didn't get any credit for inventing the modern cover system.

Pssh don't lie, Gears of TOOTALLY invented it. I jest, i jest! :p

Mine:
Thrill Kill (PS)
Siren (PS2)
Killzone (PS2)
Haze (PS3)...The dialogue is so bad I love it. At points I wonder if they were trying to make it as bad as it is.

I don't know whether or not to put Clear Sky on here. As far as I can see, I think it's pretty underappreciated by the scores it's getting.

I'll avoid the obvious like Psychonauts and Shadow of the Colossus etc.

I'll go with Crusader: No Remorse, Red Faction, Silent Hill 1 (shame it's such a git to get a hold of these days), Stalker count? Sure there were so many glitches but with a bit of tinkering from the fan base modding community, underneath was a brilliant FPS. Mashed: Fully Loaded is the greatest multiplayer game ever made bar NONE, Star Wars: Jedi Academy, WWF No Mercy, Okami and recently Ace Combat 6 - it's just mental, I love it.

*edit* And speaking of mental, how could I forget Gunstar Heroes?!

Sacrifice for the PC. Look it up.

And please, for god's sake, nobody mention Shadow of the Colossus or Okami.
Sacrifice was BOSS.

Anyway, let's see

Deathrow(Xbox)

and, you ready for this. Greatest game ever made goes to

Felix the Cat(NES)

oh yeah, that just happened
