Your favorite "useless" character

A lot of games (and films) have their share of characters that contribute very little to the story. Some can be annoying or sometimes even enjoyable. So what is your favorite?

Mine is Captain Qwark from the Ratchet and Clank series. He is really pointless but for some reason I liked him in the game, even if he does get annoying at times. Also possibly the greatest butt chin in gaming.

So true. Especially when his entire contribution to one of the movies was just..."Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhh!!"

The Carmine brothers from the Gears of War games have to be my choice, almost all of them end up dead at some point and compared to their compatriots they are all rather wimpy and noobish and yet I like them so much because of it.
It's just kind of nice that in a game where we are surrounded by grunting muscle man ape creatures there can be at least ONE character who is just a cheerful sweet hearted and enthusiastic rookie. Ben Carmine in particular had to be my favorite given that Anthony died too soon and Clayton was both not a noob and barely in the game. Ben Carmine got great amounts of screentime and he was charmingly lovable.
I'm not even ashamed to admit I almost cried during his death scene.

Qwark isn't useless at all. He's the comic relief. That's absolutely necessary.
