Hello Escapists!
I just downloaded Opera 10 to try out and I am quite enjoying it over IE 8. So, my question to you is: What is your personal favorite web browser?

Firefox. Easily modified to my needs, stable, add-ons make my life so much easier...

What else is there to be said?

Oh, right... Ad-Blocker Plus ftw.

I use firefox cos I like being able to mod it. Also its going to be evenly spread over chrome and firefox most likely. This topic turns up semi frequently.

Firefox.

- Lots of incredibly useful add-ons. I can't do without stuff like Adblock, Firebug, or GreaseMonkey.
- Better W3C-standards compatibility than pretty much any other browser.
- Easy to use and reasonably safe.

Firefox FTW, simply put (in my own opinion, I'm not advertising a flame war)
Please don't hit me...

Edited: Oh yeah, why I think so is because it's brought me less pains than Internet Explorer.
It got a lot of appliers, but I rarely use those I download. Except adblock. That's used frequently.

I LOVE Firefox. It's very fast, extremely extensible, and looks good, even with the default theme.

Now if only they'd give it better Windows 7 Jumplist integration.

I use chrome. I support the municipality. Google will own the Earth, just accept it.

You know what? I've never had a problem with IE. I've been annoyed by both Firefox and especially Chrome but IE has been good to me.

Firefox

Runs better than Explorer, easily modified, simple interface, ad-blockers etc.

Google Chrome.
It doesn't crash every two minutes like Internet Explorer and Firefox looks like it has too many features to confuse me.

I may start using Chrome more, seeing as they've added extension support. And you don't have to restart to start using them either, which is awesome.

Chrome is the fastest so I use that. My Firefox got adware the first or second week I used it.

Firefox. Basically because I'm using it since the dawn of time and using anything else feels weird. Also there is customizable privacy so it makes my browser not give up obvious information without the need for porn mode. That's one reason that puts me off Chrome.

Firefox only really has as many features as you add to it, and they also have a Windows 7 taskbar tab display option like in IE 8. You just have to fiddle around in about:config to enable it.

Google Chrome because Firefox decided to die on me and delete all my bookmarks, twice.
I kinda like chrome it seems to be more stable, and auto AutoPagerize is just an awesome add-on oh and gmail checker too ^_^.

Firefox for the look, security and addon capability (some of which compliment the security).

I would use Chrome but I don't like the EULA.
