So reading through these threads gets me thinking about games I haven't played in a while, asking myself questions I usually don't and occasionally coming up with questions to ask you, like:

What is your favorite game in any of these franchises/series? Mario, Zelda, Spyro, GTA, Metroid, Ratchet & Clank, Sly Cooper, and any others I've forgotten for now.

Link's Awakening
Spyro: Year of the Dragon
GTA San Andreas
Metroid Prime 2
R&C Up Your Arsenal
Sly 2 Band of Thieves

Didn't play enough to have a favorite, can't remember the name, never played, never played, Zero Mission, only played first one, didn't like.

Growing up, I was always into pokemon but I managed to find a whole bunch of old mario games so I'd have to say Mario XD

Zelda: Majora's Mask is the best one.

Metroid: Super Metroid is my favorite

R&C: Tools of Destruction. I don't know why, I just had the most fun with it.

Sly Cooper: 2 was the best. No question.

Erm, if you don't have an answer for some of 'em, you don't have to answer. And it seems kinda strange that someone can enjoy a Ratchet game and doesn't like any of the Spyro games. Since, y'know, the first three good ones were made by the same company ad all. Ah well, opinions are opinions, who am I to criticize and whatnot...

You can only have one favorite.

If you have more than one, then you don't know what it is to state you have a favorite.

When you say you have more than one favorite, you sound rather silly. So I would ask you, what is your favorite of your "favorites"?

Based on the ones you have already stated, I would pick Zelda easily. I like the games people say ripped off from Zelda better tho..... such as the horseman of the apocalypse... Darksiders. So since the idea of the post is flawed, I will say Darksiders does a better job than more of the games people say it rips off. So with that logic, I say "My Favorite game (based off these silly ideals) is Darksiders.

Okay, maybe I wasn't as clear as I could be, or maybe you missed the point, but each of the games on my list is my favorite of that one franchise/series. I honestly couldn't say what my one favorite game of all is, because I like too many games for too many reasons. So, instead of going off on some rant based on either a miscommunication or a misunderstanding, maybe contact the author of the thread for clarification, rather than making yourself seem like a smug, know-it-all jerk. If you aren't actually a smug, know-it-all jerk, then I do sincerely apologize.

Mario: Super Mario World since everything after sucked. Yes, even Mario 64. Sorry.

Zelda: A Link to the Past. 3D killed my love of Zelda and portable Zelda games feel like empty husks impersonating Zelda games.

Spyro: Spyro the Dragon. Only played the first two, but the original was the best.

GTA: Grand Theft Auto IV. I don't like GTA, but the latest game is just plain awesome.

Metroid: Metroid 2. Played the life out of it on my original Gameboy, and then some.

Ratchet & Clank: Never played any of them.

Sly Cooper: Never played any of them.
