Your favourite actor?

I was talking to my friends about this today and decided I would ask you as well. Who is your favourite actor? Mine personally is Jack Nicholson. He is just awesome.

It's hard because when I say, they're a great actor, or I like <actor's name>, it usually means I like the movies they're in.

If that's allowed then Jason Statham. I don't know anything about him, I don't know if he can do anything other than "Badass with nice car/s" and the part he played in Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels but I haven't seen a movie he's in that I didn't thoroughly enjoy.

Although, I think Hugh Jackman is also an awesome actor, and great dancer.

Also, Marlon Brando. Needs no explaination.

Christian Bale, he truly throws himself into a role. To prepare for some of his movies: he became dangerously skinny for the Machinist(a movie 20 people saw), built up too much body mass for Batman Begins and The Dark Knight(a movie 20 billion people saw), invented Gun Kata for Equilibrium and murdered people and rented tapes for American Psycho.

I also love Hugh Grant, Viggo Mortensen, and (of course) Johnny Depp.

Alan Rickman would come into both of my lists If I were around in Cary Grants hayday, I probably would have squee'd over him like people squee over Brad Pitt today.

I don't know who my favourite is, but I have a huge love for Alan Rickman, Johnny Depp and Christopher Lee. You can probably guess I'm a Tim Burton fan too.

If we can mention actresses too, then Helena Bonham Carter is my favourite.
