Your favourite and least favourite pokemon types!

I was just playing Platinum, when I thought I would ask the Escapist community what their favourite and least favourite pokemon types are and why?

mine are...
Favourite: Dragon
Least Favourite: Normal

I like the Dragon type simply because they have few weaknesses on their own and generally tend to be quite powerful pokemon, aswell as looking pretty brutal.

I hate the Normal type because, it is good against nothing yet has a weakness to fighting. (not including hidden power)

Well at least normal has Snorlax. Now poison, that's another story. I defy you to come up with one poison Pokemon worth your time.

Fav: Ice - Pretty good moves to have plus Articuno kicks ass.

Least Fav: Poison - All the "Bad" Guys had poison pokemon - I reckon it was definitely a joke type. Plus it's basically effective against bugger all.

As for type preferences,
Favourite: Ice, Dark, Ghost. (All for reasons of style)
Least favourite: Dragon, Steel, Psychic. I'm still scarred after learning that Dragonair evolved into Dragonite, it always struck me as very much an aesthetic step backwards.

Other than maybe Gengar or Skuntank, Poison type is just a waste of time and existance.

Crobat, Tentacruel, Gengar. Unless you meant pure poison types, in which case yeah they suck.

Typewise, let's see...
Favorite: Bug/Steel. 9 resistances, one immunity and only one weakness. The only downside is it's a double weakness, so you have to be a little careful playing it.

Lest Favorite: Anything with Ice in it. Only resists itself; weak to 4 types, all of which are extremely common. Ice paired with almost any other type in the game makes that type worse off than it started with.

My favourite type is Poison cause I love Muk.
My least favourite type is Ground cause they're meanies.

For me there is no favorite type, but I like: Ground, Psycic, and Grass.
The type that I'm not particularly fond of is Dark. There are none that have any good defense.

Love Psychic Pokemon because I just think they're awesome.
Hate them because they're slow

You obviously haven't seen kadabra and freakin alakazam. But your other reasons are still enough to hate them.
