Your Favourite and least favourite Star Wars games, and why...

Simple enough topic

My favourite Star Wars game would have to be: KoTOR, for it's amazing story and gameplay. (I'd rave more but I did that earlier today already)

Honorable mentions to the Battlefront series, and Episode 1: Pod Racer

My least favourite Star Wars game is: The Force Unleashed, for medicore gameplay and story. This game feels like it was made with the motto "It's fucking Star Wars, everyone will love it regaurdless"

It's just a awful game for being so damn medicore, make sense? Wasted oppurtunity. It also made me realize that the Star Wars universe would be better off if it just moved on from the movies, not just the prequels.

Favorite is probably Jedi Outcast/Jedi Academy, simply because the saber duels (well, in multiplayer, anyway) were amazing.
Least favorite is probably...the N64 game. I don't even remember the name of it, but it just wasn't that good of a game. (It's so mediocre that I can't remember the name! That says a lot.)

Dislike:Super Star Wars- this is not because of the retro graphics nor the game play but I cannot tell how many times I have thrown my Snes Controller against the wall because of this game

Was that 'Shadows of the Empire'? It was brilliant! Dash Rendar is one of the most awesome characters in the extended universe, and in the instruction booklet they make reference to Seinfeld.

Kotor would probably be number one. Although SW Battlefield 1 and 2 were damn good.

My least favorite would be 'Force Unleashed'. Too much dicking around with the mythology, and for the reasons stated in the most recent 'Stolen Pixels'.

Well KoToR is my favourite game of all time so I guess I'll say that's my favourite star wars game.

Least... I guess I'd say Battlefront 2. I never liked the way the put heroes into it. The concept annoyed me because I like the fact you never even saw a lightsaber in the first game, then they just go ruin it =/

There hasn't been one that I didn't really enjoy...but I haven't played loads of Star Wars games
I actually quite liked Force Unleashed even if it did sort of f up the storyline.

Favourite would either be Battlefront 2 or Episode 1: Racer

Favorite is Kotor II, least favorite is the MMO. (Cause I cant play it)

Force Unleashed was fine, just hate that they wussed out. Its appeal was being a badass soulless sith assassin. I want the Apprentice from SC4. He even looked cooler in that.

Episode 1 Racer would be my favourite... can't point out my least favourite as they all blend in as rather meh after that, and Episode 1 Racer only stands out because it's something that can't really go wrong without completely shoddy development.

Favorite TIE Fighter with honourable mention going to every game in the X-Wing series. Least favorite Empire at War or whatever they called that awful rts. Razzie runner up's gotta be the Rogue Squadron rail-flyers

Using a cool character and having a funny manual does not make a good game

I remember being frustrated by the crappy controls and general suckiness of the gameplay, so much so that I don't think I even finished the game.

OT: How come nobody has said Rogue Squadron yet? That and KoTOR are my two favourite. My least favourites would be the aforementioned Shadows of the Empire, and Star Wars for the original Game Boy. Stupid fucking sandcrawler level...

Man, I love most of the Star Wars games. My favourites are both of the KoTOR games, the Super Star Wars series, Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy and that one arcade Star Wars game that I can never remember the name of, where you flew through various scenarios in each film in a FPS style, followed by bonus levels where you controlled a lightsaber, still in a First-Person viewpoint, and had to fight Vader and Boba Fett.

As for least favourite, I'd probably say The Force Unleashed, although I don't think it was that bad of a game.

Well, wow. I agree with everything that you just said. Although I have to say I would add the original rogue squadron game to the list of honorable mentions if for nothing else but out of nostalgia.

I also, never liked that Star Wars RTS empire at war. I usually like RTS's but It just really did not appeal to me much.

My favorite is Star Wars:Rogue Squadron.

Least favorite is that Star Wars Fighting Game that was released on the Dreamcast.

Rogue Leader: Rogue Squadron 2.
The entire game can be justified by the attack on the second death star level. The moment where Admiral Ackbar shouts "It's a trap!" and you turn round to the sight of the entire screen being filled with TIE fighters and Star destroyers. More than you can possibly take on... and then you do. Pure gaming magic.
