Not sure if I like Guinness all that much. Yes, its quite drinkable and probably better than most of the beers that will likely be on offer but... its too creamy. Almost like downing a pot of cream, and I get a weird aftertaste with it and a strange feeling down the back of my throat.

Guinness fresh pulled from the tap hands down. Sweet baby Jesus that's good.
Also had Tuborg from the tap once which was amazing as I recall.
Wish that Brew Dog beers were more available in the US because their Punk IPA had a really crazy flavor and I was hoping to try more of them before I left the UK...but I didn't :(

Honorable mentions:
Spitfire
Hoegaarden
Stella Artois
Blue Moon

Also I enjoy 40 ounce Hurricanes surprisingly. mmmm dat malt liquor.

Keith's IPA, Kronenbourg 1664 (and Blanc), Corona, anything from Mill St., etc. etc. I like beer so this could go on for a while. I've also been known to sample the occasional chocolate stout.

Well, most of the beer I have tasted is quite good, but I do have a soft spot for a bottle of Erdinger. It's very refreshing and it has lots of taste, it goes great with food too. I also like Duff beer.

Stella Artois or Jupiler for a casual drink
Kwak, Duvel or Kasteel Bruin for something stronger
of course the occasional pint of Guinness

If I had to pick one though: Hopus

My favorite would be Old Rasputin Imperial Stout. Although that Scottish Imp stout at 18% sounds impressive; Old Rasputin is only 9%.

It's as rich and delicious as it looks.

It's another one of those beers from the Pacific Northwest, by the way.

I usually go for Stella Artois. Sometimes I enjoy Barbar (honey ale). I used to drink a lot of St. Bernardus Abt in the past.

I recently found a new favourite ale:

Sadly I've only found it in one shop near me so far, but it is a lovely dark ale.

Or I'll keep it simple and just go for a Murphy's stout.

Oooh well , Chimay Tripel ( the white capped bottle) is my favourite beer ,a really nice Belgian Trappist brew ;0).

Worthy mentions go to O'Dells IPA, Sierra Nevada IPA and Orval, with Golden Pippen from the Copper Dragon brewery scoring very highly for a nice easy going ale.

For lager it goes to Steinlager or Becks bier ( not the on tap Vier_)

Stout has to be a Guinness if at home, if away then Murphys. Orkney Dark Island is awesome too, initial tasting brings to mind the evil child of Guinness and Newcastle Brown Ale.

On that wonderful note, Im off to see whats in the fridge

Cheers.

Polish beer Dębowe mocne, 9% alcohol and 100% pure awesomness in a bottle.

I also quite enjoy Czech beers, particularly the brand Černá Hora (It's Czech for Black Mountain).

Lager: Tsing Tao and Michelob Gold (haven't seen that around for a while, though)
Ale: Discovery (fortunately served at my local)

I'm a beer aficionado. I love too many kinds and varieties to give a "best" based on taste alone. Really depends on what I'm in the mood for.

However, my favorite overall beer has to be Finnegan's Irish Amber from Minneapolis, MN.

It's drinking beer for local charities. It can't get any better...unless it's found to also cure cancer.

Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA is some amazing stuff. It's an Imperial IPA that clocks in at 9%, is wonderfully hoppy but is balanced with malt. If you can find it and like big ales, it's worth a try.

I don't usually like beer, but the one that I've found that I do like is a local Frederick beer called Flying Dog. It's really good, and they use Ralph Steadman art on the bottles, which is cool. Raging ***** is my favorite, I think.
