In England, we have the best comedy, we're the worlds best at sarcasm and self deprecation in the name of humour.

Also the fact we're allowed to make jokes about the Welsh.

And the French.
To be fair, everyone makes jokes about the French.

My favorite British thing? Too many to just name one, so here's a sampler platter of some of the best:
The English language
Shakespeare
Sir Christopher Lee. Seriously, that guy kicks ass.

Doctor Who ain't too bad.
Accents

I could go on, but I don't feel like it.

Our cross between what I find to be good aspects of both Continental European aspects and American elements. I think we've got a good medium, which I would sorely miss if moved abroad.

Yatzhee, the accents, Monty Python...

And what the hell is a queue? I thought that was a selection of documents a printer had to print, or a list of something to do, something along those lines.

One more question - do Brits think we Americans sound funny, and (I doubt it, but I think it's worth asking) do you ever try an American accent? Because tons of people here try a British accent, and the only one who seems to be able to pull it off is my brother, for some reason.

I've met a Brit, too, by the way, and he seems quite similar to Americans except for the accent.
Lol, "what's a queue?" Heh.

I think most of us think most of you sound annoying thanks to the stereotypical California 90210 crap. We're kinda desensitised to it now, though, thanks to shows like scrubs and friends.

We are quite similar in many ways. Many of your political ideas come from English sources, after all. Also,

[HEADING=1]The NHS![/HEADING]
I cost the state Eight Million Pounds.
I would've died almost anywhere else in the world!
Yeah, but there's tons of different accents in America. I'm sure there's differences in some parts of Britain, but I don't sound like anybody from California. I actually sound like what's stereotyped as Texan, but I'm from North Carolina. So many on Xbox Live have asked if I'm from Texas.

There's Boston accents, New York, Southern, blah blah blah...
Tons of different accents in america? Theres probaly more accents in britain which is tiny compared to America. Just like a scouse doesnt sound like a geordie or a mancunian. Theres multiple different accents in london alone not to mention lots more in Northern Ireland. British accents also vary massively, no two sound the same in most cases.
I never said there weren't different ones in England. Actually, all of you sound nearly the same to me, so I guess all of us must sound similar to y'all. But there are lots of differences here; just in the county I live in, you can often tell when someone's from Dallas or Stanley or Belmont, so I would imagine there's just as much difference in England. Did you take offense or something?
No not at all, Although upon reading back I can see why that might of looked like I did. But yeah, Its probaly a case of us saying 'YOU YANKS ALL SOUND THE SAME!' and you lads replying 'YOU LIMEYS ALL SOUND THE SAME'. Well to me anyway =p I've only visited Florida in America a few times and I imagine thats not the best place to see to experience the country, being extremely commercial.

The accent.

Hey, I don't care what others think, I love the British accent.

'Ello Guvnah' just doesn't have the same impact when I say it in good old fashioned American.

My girlfriend (she has to be first, by some sort of universal law or something), The Emperor and 40K in general (seriously, five pages of nerds posting and nobody puts 40K?), The Doctor (need I say more?), NHS (wish it was as good here) and, of course, one of the best countries in the world: Canada!

I am, of course, Canadian =D

General tolerance for difference in society, be it racial, sexual orientation, whatever. I'm proud of being part of that.

Yorkshire pudding, Doctor Who, Harry Potter, Tea, The most well-known language in the world, Terry Pratchet, and we have the best comedians.
And fucking Yahtzee, people. Yahtzee.
I almost forgot about Yorkshire Pudding. Y'know, all the times I've been to the UK, I've never had it there. My folks make it at every family dinner they have in the states but never in the UK. That's really weird now that I think about it.
They have some other great food too.

Bombay Mix and Fish & Chips. Who says they haven't made any contributions to world cuisine.

Terry Pratchett, JKR, JRRT, Robert Rankin, Tom Holt, Dickens, and every other author I'm forgetting at the moment.

I also have to give props to Genesis (with or without Peter Gabriel), Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins on their own, David Bowie, Iron Maiden, Gorillaz, Tom Waits; yea I know he's not from there but at least they appreciate him.

There's also Monty Python, The Young Ones, Danger Mouse (the cartoon), Scrapyard Challenge/Junkyard Wars, Top Gear, Dr Who... Another list that just goes on.

I really love how they freely toss around the swear word that rhymes with punt. They use it for men, women, and old people. Can I type that one here?
Let me stop now.

Television! (Red Dwarf, Father Ted, Black Books, Bottom, The Young Ones, Chewin' The Fat, Still Game, QI, Never Mind The Buzzcocks etcetera..)

Irn-Bru, Branston Pickle, Fruit Pastilles, blackcurrant squash, artery-destroying breakfasts, plentiful kebabs and curries.

Stephen Fry, Ainsley Harriott, David Attenborough, Terry Pratchett, CS Lewis, Simon Bisley, Pete Postlethwaite, Gary Oldman, Christopher Nolan, Eddie Izzard, Alan Moore, The Rolling Stones.

The English language.

And the ridiculous amount of history and culture packed into that little landmass. Damn.

The Internet (look it up), Beer (though I'm not a drinker myself), the fact that we're so close to Ireland, being under that watchful eye of David Cam- I MEAN the entirely-Fictional, not-applied-to-the-modern-day-in-any-way Big Brother (1984, I'm not nearly brain-dead enough to watch it). Man, do I love BIG BROTHER!

And of course, our Unbelievably, 'king Awesome Modesty, that clearly makes us one of the top nations...

All of this basically, but especially Hugh Laurie for convincing the producer of House that he was an American which landed him the role.

Oh and James Bibby (awesome author look him up) and Robert Rankin.

As a matter of fact, I'm wearing one now. Not a fake, plastic-y, new one, but a really old one, at least 100 years old. Probably more.
Nice. I want a top hat. Mebbe a matching cane. Monacle optional.

Stephen Fry.

If I wasn't extremely pedantic I'd say Father Ted and the IT Crowd, but seeing as they were written and probably directed by an Irish guy I can only really say I'm thankful that the British funded it :p
