He's Scottish, You pillock.

That's my example, British humour, the best in the world. Oh,and the British Language(Yes you fucking Escapist Spellchecker, that is how you spell humour!!")
Oh my God you're the worst type of person. Though I suspect you trollin' so just troll away home.
EDIT: Ahh, someone else has picked you up on it and you seem to say that because he's not English he's not British... I'm afraid I don't understand, Wales are the ones to bully, we want the Scots on our side in the coming war with Wales, they're scary as fuck.

HELLOOOO ESCAAAPIST, how're you all doing this fine Friday?

Now, I'm British myself, and I'm very intrigued with other peoples thoughts and feelings on all things British. I'm proud, what can I say.

So, what is your favourite thing to come from Blighty? And if you're British yourself, what is it you're most proud of? Or heck, maybe we're totally useless?

Let me know, I'm interested:].

Personally, I'm most proud of our Comedy:'].

Note: Just before we start, make sure you take peoples feelings into consideration. Cracking jokes is all well and good, but just, try keep the trollin' to a minimum okay. Let's gooo!
I love British humor, the rarity that it is, because its just so damn funny. And unlike most american humor, it tends to be very dry, and can be funny without obscenity.

What? Knowing how to spell English is trollin?

'Sides, the Scottish thing was a Joke about everyone confusing England and Britain as the same thing.

Enter Shikari and Muse. Favourite things to come out of England ever, fully changed my life. England has some fucking awesome comedy but also some terrible comedy just like every country, so I won't give them that.

I (American) grew up being a *huge* Anglophile. I thought the UK was just the bee's knees. Then when I visited some friends there, I all I heard was how terrible America was--all. the. time. How we're the cancer of Europe and how terrible it was that McDonald's was in England and how the US doesn't make any good TV or film and how we were all bad in every way. It got old really quickly. Especially since it seemed to really be all weird defensiveness and the inability to deal with America's ascension and Great Britain's decline post-WW2.

Nonetheless, I'm still very fond of the UK, though I've taken it off its pedestal...especially after I've spent lots of time studying its social and colonial history.
I think the only things I've heard that people here in the UK dislike about America, is it's reluctance to consider coffee just as odd a drink as tea, and how patriotic you are. (Also that you were actually the last country to abolish slavery, but we'll leave it there.) America is a truly great place; but it has it's problems just as we in the UK do.

Our cuisine
other countries may look snobbishly upon the british menu
but we invented fish and chips
we are the ones who put haddock and fried potato slices together
are we not Gods?

Not the comedy that's for sure.

I'm not saying I'm the kind of person who likes Family Guy or anything, but I just don't like most British comedy.

Shit, I don't know, what's come out of Britain again? I guess I'll go with America, yeah, thanks for that.
