Your favourite fighting game characters?

I'm a big Sophitia fan in Soul Calibur. Solid speed and range, and if I can land my first hit with her, I'm good enough at juggling that I can either ring out or take like 60% health before they can get back up. And in SCIII, I can easily transfer my Sophitia skills to Cassandra's awesome low grabs and Lizardman's hilarious crawling mode.
For MvC3, the character I'm best at is either Spencer or Taskmaster, but I like She-Hulk, Dormammu, and Dr Strange as just plain fun characters.
Zelda is my go-to in Smash Bros, though Ness is also fantastic, and Pichu is vastly underrated in a 4 man brawl.
Noel in Blazblue because I'm terrible but at least my moves look cool.
Momoko in King of Fighters XI because her infinite loop attack and her stupidly strong leader hyper combo were the only things that let me beat goddamn Magaki. SNK bosses are the worst.
E Honda from Street Fighter just because someone needs to give E Honda some love.

I don't like a lot his personality, because frankly I get sick of the classic "I AM EVIL!!!!! LOOK AT ME" stories most of the characters have [except of course are cliche villains like Skullmageddon or Skeletor

What I do like is the sweet combos and epic special moves this man can do!!! BADASS!!!!!

Favorite of all time has got to be Chun Li. I used to be really good with her in SF2, and I loved her style (both personality and playstyle.) I tend to gravitate toward fast characters, and it was so fun bouncing around the screen, head-stomping, air-throwing, etc.
In SF4, she's not necessarily my best character, but I understand her the best, if that makes any sense. Like, I know how to react to most situations with her, and I can vary my playstyle with her a lot, so I guess I'm more in control and harder for my opponent to read. Among my friends it's understood that when I pick her, it's on.
Other faves are Sakura, Juri, and Ken.
And I'm terrible at Virtua Fighter, but I really love Aoi. Her style is really fluid and everything's based around reversing her opponent's moves... I just wish I could, y'know, actually do it. Pai's really fun too.

I must say that Fulgore is one of the most iconic killer robot designs I can think of, I played him, Glacius and Combo.

Yeah forgot about Primal Rage I played the hell out of the SNES version I got pretty good with everyone eventually (not pro good but decent) although I would say I was best with Blizzard eventually that guy was just a beast (pardon the crap pun) fail to block one move and you are frozen then its free combo time lol. I reckon he was made to be the best seeing his name and the company that made the game.Exius Xavarus said:

I may have to give it another go sometime it wasnt the best fighter on the SNES by a long way though.
Also forgot about the virtua fighter series so my favourites there are Pai, Vanessa and Akira.

Currently, I've been playing a lot of Persona 4 Arena(also, Golden), and I love Teddie for his unpredictability. I also like Aigis, but she feels like cheat mode. All you hear is "targeting" and " Athena!", she'll tear you up if you give her half a chance. As to favorite characters overall, my favorites over the years have been King( loved his moveset, easy on the muscle memory), Scorpion(Toasty!), and Blanka(I used him as a trap character, sucker someone in, zap them, then it's barrel rolls leading to beadbutts).
