Legend of the Dragoon. It was a very fun game.
I loved Legend of the Dragoon. I thought the lvling system for the dragoon armor was a little broken. But over all great gameplay, outstanding story.

As my name says the Legacy of Kain series, also the freeware game Liero with some mods, I loved the PS2/Xbox Punisher game,Psi-Ops The Mindgate Conspiracy.

All these are excellent games and as one user already said Freedom Fighters.

Wizardry 8. Best RPG ever made.

I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who ever talks of it.
It is a horrible game.

OT: Croc:Legend of the Gobbos.

Know what game this dude is from?

You should, It's a classic. Too bad it wasn't more Well Recieved.
I though Bad Fur Day was quite well recieved, ack well, I'm with this one then, that game was great so was Conker Live and Reloaded.
It was, by a certain audience. The audience of "Aye, it's a game, it's meant to be fun." Audience.
Back in 2001, I think there was still alot of "ZOMG VIDEO GAMEZ SHULD B GOOD 4 TEH CHILDRENZ!!!"
People who believed all games should be marketed towards the kids, and thats why it could have been much more warmly recieved then it was.
Personally, I think this is Rare's best.

magnus og myggen, a danish low budget click and point adventure game series, so the "danish" part already means no more than 200 thousand could ever have played it, but even by those standards its not very known, they made a few of them and they became less fun, charming and challenging as time went by so maybe it was a good thing they dint became successful, if they did there would have been a fan boy site where me and some other guys would whine every day (now i only whine once a month).

Conker's Bad Fur Day. Best N64 game on this side of the M rating.

There's also room for Tomba! in my book. Five people played that game, and it is fucking delicious.

E.T., its wildly known but as the worst game ever and the reason for the death of console gaming, but it was actually pretty funny.

maybe it would be more known if those who enjoyed the game would actually mention the name.
i dint try games like braid, overlord and the fallout series because my friends would be all like "oh man i just tried a great game!, really? which?!, oh you should know already"
If you're a gamer, and have even heard of the N64, you know who this little guy is.
I also excluded the name to show just how few people know about it, despite being one of the best games on the N64.
If there is something in platformers that you hate, Conker will make fun of it.

normally I would say Okami, but now everyone knows about it, next would be Disgaea, but considering this site has a section of avatars devoted to it, I can't say that either, so now I have nothing. :(

I registered just to post lol

Lufia and Lufia 2 for SNES. Dont know many people who know of them but they are great RPGs, and Final Fantasy 6 (FF3 on the SNES) still had some of the most in depth story line ever. With around 20 playable characters, and they all had an extensive backstory to play through, its still one of the most underrated RPGs out there, though it is in the Final Fantasy series.
