I believe you may be refering to Piedmon. A.K.A my favourite Digimon. He was seriously creepy and definitely came closest to actually defeating the digidestined (well of the all the villans I saw at least)

Until he got beaten by Deus-Ex-Machina-mon Magnangemon, anyway.
I just found it odd that Patamon's ultimate form could dick on every mega form 'mon out there. It's also odd that I remember that.

has to be GOMAMON, from season one, he was always the most sarcastic from the rookie digimon, also kiwimon from later in the series and of course Piedmon...because he is friggin Kefka from FFVI

So is Alphamon...fun fact: IN Japan, Omnimon is called Omegamon. According to the lore, he and Alphamon work together to act as the Alpha and the Omega. I love cool references like that.
