Tim Curry, that's why!
Everyone say it with me now: SHPACE!

I really enjoy the Panzer Lehr campaign in Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts, I think it does an amazing job making the German soldiers feel like actual people as opposed to the goose-stepping monsters a lot of other games go for. This scene sums it up perfectly:

I know her from somewhere, wiki is saying it's Jenny McCarthy but it's not. Do you know ho she is?

I haven't played that many RTS games, but I think the last one I played was pretty good, that being SC2.

I liked upgrading units and buildings with things.

I have played the DoW games and didn't like there SP, especially the whole "take over the world" ones. I remember playing the age of empires 2 SP and liking it but I can't remember it at all.

People tend to dump on it, but I like the Starcraft 2 campaign. The mission variety was excellent.

Dawn of War 2: Retribution. Imperial Guard Campaign.

Laugh maniacally as 100+ Guardsmen backed up by four tanks and an automatic reinforcement system from Castor go on a rampage.

Homeworld 2 is probably my favorite campaign story at least. The most fun mission award might have to go to C&C Generals, even if the story is kinda dumb.

I think they dump on the story and dialogue, which were kinda stupid. The gameplay is fun, the story is dumb.

Warcraft 3 and its expansion hands down. That's my favourite! Honourable mentions go to Red Alert 2, Starcraft 2 and Dawn of War: Dark Crusade.

Homeworld 2.

Loved it. Loved the toned-down urgency. Loved the discovery of ancient tech. Loved the prophetic undertones.

Just loved it.

Age of Empires is my favourite RTS series, but for pure, epic single player campaigns you can't beat the Total War series. Playing Empire: TW as the Maratha Confederacy at the moment and loving it. It feels genuinely awesome seeing your generals become more badass as you conquer entire continents.

Personally and probablalways, WC3, RoC and FT. Both are fantastic great characters and story. I actually feel like I'm controlling important people, not just soldiers / heros.

All of the men of war campaigns are pretty good, and some excellent levels throughout. However, the Axis campaign in Men of War is absolutely amazing. Charting the Afrikakorps's early successes and eventual defeat, and culminating in the awesome defense level "Borg's Last Fight", it's brilliant.

The MoW Red Tide expansion also deserves a mention.

Chaos Gate was pretty good (although I never finished it, due to increasingly high levels of corrupted save files, until my game was rendered entirely unplayable (sigh).

The Warcraft III campaign is very good as well. I love the humour of some of the Red Alert campaigns as well.
