Your Favourite Songs

I have to fill my ipod with music but as I soon discovered 8 gigs is a lot more space than I had anticipated. My admittedly small collection of music is exhausted so now Escapist I need your help.

Please post a list of your favourite songs and help me fill the remaining 6 gigabytes of free space so that it can no longer taunt me with it's emptiness.

A sort of genre might help.

Anyway, how about Destine, a new Dutch band I've been promoting wherever I can. They have potential and have a fairly mainstream sound with guitars.

Another one of my favorites, not naming all metal, is Muse. H.A.A.R.P. is a winner album (it's live).

Besides the song on H.A.A.R.P., you might want to include MK Ultra, Resistance, Sing ofr Absolution, Plug In Baby and my personal favorite: Showbiz

You are lucky though, I never have space for all my music by a long shot . And also - if you want something to fill up your ipod, could you give an idea of what kind of music you like, maybe?

Any music at all... well maybe everything except rap un-less it's really good.

I'll recommend the following:

The Megas - Very good, but not everyone will like them.


Frank Turner - One of my favorite artists.


And Just to round it out with 3 artists,

MC Frontalot, one of my favorite Nerdcore artists, but once again, not for everyone.


Those are the best I can think of that not many will know about.

The I'll just give a random list of bands I like :
Rock bands I'd recommend would be Lost Prophets, Muse, REM, Audioslave, Snow Patrol, Coldplay, The Fray, The Beatles, Linkin Park.
Metal Bands I like and would recommend would be Sonata Arctica, Kamelot, Within Temptation, System of a Down, Nightwish, Amon Amarth (I usually like the bass on their songs mainly, they aren't usually my style otherwise), Coheed and Cambria, Dream Theater, Bullet for My Valentine, The Used.

The above are all my opinion... and to be honest I tend not to listen to "mainstream music". I would recommend more, but alot of the other stuff is more for just the vocals or instrumentals.
