Post who is your favourite tf2 class why and if you want what weapons/hats your class uses
mine is spy:
why:fun to trick/ always awesome to get a massive back stab combo
weapons: ambassador,dead ringer/clock and dagger
hat: none (only got the gibus)

I did quit after the ridiculous hats thing and the introduction of amazing class weapons and achievements one at a time. That just really annoyed me, I felt it unbalanced the game each time it was done. You don't see Blizzard doing a "Hunter Patch" for World of Warcraft do you? So yea, long time since I played it but it was amazing at the beginning.

My faves are Demoman and Pyro.

Last time I played the game there was none of this "hats" and "alternate weapon choices" stuff, so I can't really comment on that. I guess I'll go with whatever they've got as default.

Demoman is my favourite, good for attacking and defending and its so satisfying when you get a grenade right and the other person bursts into small pieces. As for upgrades i've only unlocked the Chargin' Targe because i deleted my windows partition and i'm waiting for it to come to Mac. Can't remember the last time i actually played it.

Heavy, because there's nothing more fun than getting behind an enemy charge and ripping through it, leaving them saying "how did we miss the biggest and slowest class getting behind us?"
Weapons: Minigun, Shotgun and KGB. If/when the TANK/GRU arrives, it's going to be a difficult choice though...
Hat: Tough Guy's Torque (first hat, I crafted it myself. I've also got the Hound Dog, which I wear to the Elvis Picnics that break out on the Escapist servers every so often).

Heavy cause it's a lot of fun and really effective if you do it right, despite all the whinging that goes on.

Usually I play medic though, as generally it ranks higher on the Credit to Team scale

I've ranked up the most time with the Pyro, and she's probably my favourite to play as, but as a character, Spy hands down.

Yeah, I believe the Pyro is a woman. The handbag in the lockers and some of the thing's the other classes say regarding them convince me.

Probably either the Sniper or the Heavy, just for the fact that:

Sniper: He's Aussie, has an Akubra and is just plain awesome!
Heavy: Russian, can slaughter his way through the majority of a team, and likes sandviches!

Spy

Why: Fun to play because backstabs are satisfying and it requires strategy. Also I like the "deadly gentleman" personality (my next gamertag/username will probably be based on this)

Weapons: Ambassador, vanilla watch (I prefer it), knife

Hats: None yet, but by God do I want that fedora!

My favourite is Soldier, but I switch to medic when needed
Using the regular rocket launcher, shotgun(sometimes buff banner) and the Equalizer
No hats for the soldier except gibus, but that doesn't count.
Always funny to rocket jump and then rain rockets on the enemies heads.
