As you all know, people tend to get asked a lot of questions regarding favourites. "What's your favourite movie/book/TV show" etc.

So I thought it might be an okay idea for people to just declare their favourites of various media or popular cultuere on one forum.

And if this has been done before, then I apologise.

I'll start.

Favourite movie - Fellowship of the Ring.

Favourite TV show - Yes Minister

Favourite book - "Wyrd Sisters" by Terry Pratchett

Favourite song - "Into the West" By Annie Lennox

Favourite piece of music - "The Atlantean sword" by Basil Poledouris.

Favourite video game - Shadow of the Colossus

Favourite movie: Previous favourites have been Iron Man, and Team America: World Police. Not sure of current favourite, will say it's Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure but there might be a film I like more that hasn't come to mind yet (or, like, I don't remember how good it is).

Favourite tv show: Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Favourite anime: Code Geass, or maybe Baccano!

Favourite book: Red Mars, out of Kim Stanley Robinson's Mars Trilogy.

Favourite fanfic: Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality.

Favourite song: This is even worse than the movie one, because it varies even from one minute to another based on what I feel like listening to. I guess I'll go with I Believe in a Thing Called Love, by The Darkness.

Favourite band: Queen.

Favourite video game: Empire: Total War.

Favourite sport: Sport? Hahahaha no.

Favourite company: Valve.

Favourite drink: Monster Energy Drink, preferably the "Ripper" variant (one of the ones that has juice, the other one is "Khaos").

Favourite alcoholic drink: Sambuca.

Favourite sweets: Millions, but I like to have a mixture so I go with a mix of Millions and Liquorice Torpedoes.

Favourite actual food: Hamburgers. Sometimes with ketchup in the bun, usually nothing else besides beef. Preferably the largest burgers that I can realistically eat.

Favourite politician: Boris Johnson. No idea of his actual policies, but I don't live in London so I don't care, and he's wonderfully insane and we need more people like that in office.

Favourite pen and paper rpg: GURPS

Favourite fictional character: Q

Favourite browser extension: Ponify

Best pony: Twilight Sparkle.

Favourite historical figure: Sir Isaac Newton.

Favourite person who's currently alive: Eliezer Yudkowsky.

Favourite atheistic religion substitute: LessWrong.

Favourite cereal: Curiously Cinnamon. aka Cinnamon Grahams, or across the pond Cinnamon Toast Crunch (and Cini Minis in Poland and Germany, which is also what they were called when I got them in portugal that one time). Wikipedia is fun and useful.

Favourite country: Sweden.

Favourite political party: Pirate Party.

Favourite random encounter: Gazebo.

Favourite Pokemon: Gyarados.

Favourite insult/curse: Chucklefuck.

Favourite word: Does "dragon dildos" count? If it has to actually be just one word, then "phallus".

Favorite TV show - CNN, I know its not a "show" but its practically the only thing on television I watch.

Favorite book - Mockingjay, don't you fucking judge me. <_<

Favorite song - Carolus Rex-Sabaton, though there are many others that are very close.

Favorite video game, Halo: Combat Evolved

Favorite Sport: Soccer, unless exhibition drill counts as a sport...which it should.
